N.F.L. 21-22 Season (1 Viewer)

That accident is 1000% not Jones's fault, that imbecile cut across two lanes, slows down and creeps across traffic, he's totally in the wrong.

79; God bless the guy, I hope I get to 79 and can still drive a car.

Or am upright.

the article said Jones wasn't driving...
but it's probably his car (limo fleet)...
so he would be liable if at fault...
still...if he's 79...
not trying to be cruel...
but that's too old to drive...
reflexes and cognizant awareness is not that of a young man...

My Dad drove until he was 86.........not very well, but........

My Mom just turned 90, she drives, cooks, cleans, no glasses, no hearing aid, no cane, she's unreal.

And Sunday is her day too, can't wait.

old Greek women from the old country are tough...
a different breed...
my Aunt Ethel (Greek, dad's sister) is 94 and she still drives...
cousins trying futilely to stop that...

she gets pissed off when she goes in for a check up...
nurse asks about her medications...
she replies she doesn't take any...cause she doesn't...none...

then resident comes in and asks the same questions...
she tells him...I told the nurse I don't take any medications...

then the doc comes in and asks about her medications...
she's like..."what's wrong with you people...you asked me this 2 times already...

she's sharp...but my sister who lives close to her says she's starting to slip a little...

my favorite Aunt...

my favorite Aunt...

My uncle Harry died when he was 94...............from ****ing COVID.............he was fine other than getting that, no glasses, hearing aid, cane, nothing.

My Aunt Betty was 96 when she died.
My Aunt Evy who still lives in Greece is 94.
My Mom is 90.

I say it's the Feta, olives and Ouzo.............;)...............

My Mom will be 82 years old this year and I would put her against most Nascar drivers. She has no problem getting to and fro and being on time!~

Hilarious in the video where it looks as though Jones walks over to the guy whose car was hit and tries to shake hands with him. The guy either has no idea who Jones is or is more concerned with his car than talking with the billionaire owner of the Dallas Cowboys because he turns away and ignores him. Jones literally has a bag man standing next to him. Like Mr. Burns from the Simpsons. Thankfully no one was hurt. Thank your lucky stars if you have an elderly relative still capable of driving themselves. My mom lost the ability to drive when she was in her early 70s. It's a huge lifestyle change not to be able to drive yourself and be dependent on others.

I'm amazed this get so much attention...
almost expect the paparazzi following Jerry to the grocery store and making a story about him buying a frozen pizza...
season needs to get started so they have something to write about...

that's a whoooooooooooooole lot of money!!!

Brady just penned a deal for when his football career...
is over to be the head football analyst for Fox NFL...
a 10 year...whopping $375 million...contract...
a lot more than he probably made in his amazingly long tenure in the NFL...
and a lot easier on his body...

congrats to him...

I don't get it, he's got the personality of a cigar store indian, Tony Romo is funny, engaging, knows his stuff, calls out plays before they happen, him and Aikman are my two favorites, I'd love to see Manning do this, love his personality, very engaging, makes fun of himself, he's a personable guy.

Brady has the personality of a block of wood.

Minus the personality.

yea...Peyton would be funny...
Eli maybe too...both pretty good on SNL...

Dennis Miller gotta be the strangest choice yet...
but I kind of liked him...
not so much for his football knowledge...as he seemed to convey he had little...
but for his bizarre analogies and comments during the game...
guess I was the only one who liked him...

want to get controversial...
maybe hire Antonio Brown...Terrell Owens...maybe even Metta World Peace...lol...
those guys will say and do anything for a buck...

Re: N.F.L. 21-22 Seas

I love the way the NFL keeps acting like we watch games based on who is in the play-by-play booth and/or who is on the pre-game show.

The great minority of us simply watch based on loyalty or geography (if not both). The greater majority watch based on gambling.

If you lose money on a game you could care less whether Romo, Brady or anyone else was the color commentator.

Rams and Bills to open the season. The NFL season has become an extended marathon. The Rams ended up playing an incredible 21 games last year. Think of the toll that a 21-game season takes on players. Injuries are more likely to be a factor but there is a longer period to come back.

The saga of Jimmy G. knows no end.

I would have thought the Niners would have traded him by now but I think the whole NFL pseudo salary cap has handcuffed SF.

The Rams have signed Aaron Donald to a $95 million deal over three years. There was some talk of him retiring. With the addition of Bobby Wagner, the Rams D should be a beast.

I think I read it was $65 guaranteed...
not cheap...
but I don't think is totally outrageous either for what he brings to the table...

Article in the Wash Post today: "DC is better off without the NFL - especially if it comes with Daniel Snyder."

Amazing how far the Deadskins franchise has fallen in the last couple decades. Back in the 80s, I can remember fans leaving their season tickets in their wills to relatives because they were impossible to buy. Now there are empty seats. Other than maybe the New York Knicks, the Dan Snyder team has been the most disappointing and worst run franchise in all of sports.

You won't get any argument from any of the fans (or former fans) in the DMV. Hard to say who is more unpopular in Baltimore, Angelos I suppose, but Snyder wins hands down in the rest of the DMV. Really hard to watch the mess this franchise has become since Snyder took over. A TOTAL F-ing disaster. -- Al

Dandy Dan Snyder sounds like he is in trouble with the current NFL investigation. The Wash Post is really after him. He might actually be forced to step down.
