N.F.L. 21-22 Season (3 Viewers)

Whether Lance is as good as Mahomes is early to determine but one thing is certain, he will be the SF QB next year and Jimmy G will be plying his trade elsewhere.

Brad:

Great post.

Barring an injury to Lance, Jimmy G is gone.

There was an insane fight in the stands at the Rams preseason game. Some guy appeared to be taking a beating from an entire mob. Not sure what precipitated it. No security to be seen for several minutes. Fortunately, the guy was as big as a tank or he could have been killed. I'm amazed anyone still attends live sporting events with the ticket prices and angry drunks. By coincidence, there is documentary on Netflix about the famous Indiana Pacer brawl with the fans in Detroit. Portrays the players in a more positive light. Even Artest who comes off as a thoughtful, if somewhat nutty guy. The fans are out of control. Common denominator for all these events - alcohol and lack of adequate security.

Every tough guy or idiot wants to get on TicTok, Facebook likes, Yada, yada...it's everywhere these days, people seem to look for reasons to fight to get on a social media platform....now days if there's a fight...there maybe a few people involved but 50 are recording with their phone..🙄🙄🙄

Just went on YouTube looking for it, typed in "LA Rams preseason game fight in the stands" and about 47 different videos popped up...................what a classy bunch.

I found it pretty sure; some wrecking ball getting pummeled by three guys; not sure what was worse, all the blows raining down on him, or the fans in the stands throwing cup after cup full of 40.00 beers and sodas at the morons fighting.

We had Patriots season tickets for 10 years, myself and 5 friends of mine, back when I was in my mid 20's through my mid 30's..........I saw a few brawls, never got directly involved in one, glad those years are behind me.

With all the escaped mental patients who are into MMA or the knives and guns people now carry, it's a tragedy waiting to happen.

No thanks.

I count my blessings I got through it unscathed.......................

The woman who lobbed her drink like a grenade to get the brawl started was a piece of work. Normally, I would hope they all go to jail but in California they would be released in five minutes and then sue the authorities. Before the pandemic, I went to a couple of NFL games for the first time in decades. Saw lots of fights, intoxicated people (in Pittsburgh I saw one guy lean over the exit ramp and vomit on the folks below) and loud mouths. Freezing to death or roasting depending on the weather. Add in ticket prices at nearly $200 a pop and it makes my couch the best seat in the house.

It's always the way; the **** stirrer/bomb tosser who starts it is the one who skates......................

In case you missed the coverage by ESPN, the following players are locks for the Hall of Fame:

Trevor Lawrence
Zach Wilson
Trey Lance
Mac Jones
Justin Fields
Jordan Love

That was after one pre-season game.

Just when I'm start to lose faith in social media, I come across a gem like this commentary on the fans brawl in LA:

"This lady is a heaping sack of HOT GARBAGE. As ridiculous as this whole thing was I don’t know that Aaron Donald (99) tries to Flair chop an entire section of people if Ursula the Sea Witch hadn’t chucked a full coke at him."

This Tebow experiment is a farce and an embarrassment to the game.

He looks like a bodybuilder, runs horrible routes, has hands of stone and can't block to save his life.

What exactly is he trying to prove, or more to the point, what is Jacksonville trying to prove?

He's going to get someone killed.

This nonsense needs to stop, the sooner he gets cut, the better.

The Falcons are the first time to 100% player vaccination.

Wow, they finally get to a win probability even they can't blow.

Jacksonville has cut Tebow.

Thus ends the great Tight End experiment.

There is no vaccine to prevent choking. Do they still have that owner who came down to the field when they had that big lead in the SB? The camera shots of his face as that game slipped away were priceless. He wanted to crawl in a hole. His wife wanted to throw him in a hole. It was like watching Nicolea Ceausescu just before they stood him in front of the firing squad. He couldn't believe it.

never forget that...
that smile turned to poo real quick...
like the lights went out in his eyes...
that was sad...
reminded me of Abe Vigoda...as Tessio in the Godfather...
when he asked Robert Duvall to let him off the hook...
poor guy...

Unanswered Arthur Blank questions:

Why can't the Falcons win?

Why cant I find anyone to help me at Home Depot?

Why aren't more teams 100% vaccinated like the Falcons?

Sorry, but the last question is clearly the most important.......................

Hate to pile on here but this was a priceless moment. Never liked this guy for a multitude of reasons and as they say karma is a u know what!
TD

He looks like a bad guy from a Dick Tracy movie..............the look his daughter is giving him is priceless.

Wait; that's his wife?
