N.F.L. 21-22 Season (1 Viewer)

Harbaugh to the LAC.

So much for him being a God in Michigan....................he gone.

The Michigan coaches and players who were so loyal to him now get to bear the consequences when the NCAA brings down the hammer. Jimer is off to LALA land with a boat load of money. Harblow don't surf.

Ravens 30
Chiefs 20

49'ers 31
Lions 17

My picks

Chiefs 24
Ravens 20

49ers 42
Lions 20

I think the first will be low scoring, you could reverse the score as I think it is a pick em. On the NFC, the Lions luck runs out and 49ers show their full strength.

I’m going with these picks but as Tom said the Ravens Chiefs score could go the other way too.

Just looked at a lot of expert picks in this game - majority have it at a 4pt game give or take, all with the caveat of it could go either way. Gee, real Nostradamus of them considering official line is Ravens minus 3.5..................:)

I think it is a pickem truly. Just hard to bet against the Chiefs (Mahomes, Kelce) this time of year. That said, Ravens are at home and maybe the Chiefs are tired of winning.

The Rams DC Raheem Morris is going to be the next coach of the Falcons. I was going to say that will doom Atlanta to years of futility but that would be redundant given their track record. At least they won't have to pay him as much as Belicheat to go .500 for the next three years. Poor Bill can't land a job.

I had a friend in high school who was a Miami Dolphins fan even though he had absolutely no connection to Miami. He grew up in the Don Shula era and just wanted to ride that train. That's mystifying to me. I was born in LA, went to college there, and so I pull for all the real LA teams like the Lakers, USC, and Dodgers because of that (but not so much for fake ones like the Chargers, UCLA, Clippers, and Angels).

Sorry to everyone for taking this off topic a smidge......I returned to the Dodgers myself a couple years back- flirted with the Phils and Diamondbacks but ultimately, my love for the Dodgers came through- was such a fan of Garvey and Lasorda as a boy- just can't shake it.

Garvey is running for Senate in California. He is a bit of a strange dude but certainly no stranger than his opponents. My favorite Dodgers team was the one that featured Garvey, Lopes, Russell, and Cey (aka the Penguin) for so many years in the infield.

The predicts. I've been riding the favorites at home this year. That likely continues but both KC and Detroit have a sporting chance. SF's offense did not impress without Deebo. If he is not healthy or doesn't play at all, it might get interesting. It was basically McCaffrey, McCaffrey, and more McCaffrey last week without him. Purdy was not in his Joe Montana mode.

Detroit 31 SF 27 - The Lions shock the world. Goff goes off with those receivers and SF can't generate enough points to match them.

Baltimore 38 KC 30 - Mahomes and Reid are difficult to bet against. They are playing well. This is feeling like Lamar's year, though. He didn't play great last week. If the game is close, he might go small again.

I like the 49ers, always have, but wow, it would be a great story if the Lions got to the Super Bowl, that leaves just Jacksonville and Houston as the only two teams that have not gotten there, the Browns have been there twice.

If good Lamar shows up, the Browns should win; if "playoff" Lamar shows up, they're screwed, he's dynamic and exciting when he's on, it's going to be a great game, two top shelf QB's on display.

The Lions have one of the worst defenses in the NFL, the 49ers one of the best. 49ers are a high scoring machine when they have both CMC and Deebo in the lineup. Deebo is fully healthy and not even on the injury list. See ya Lions.

They should run, run and run on the Lions, the Buccaneer's running attack is not very good and they did well, just keep feeding Mccaffery, what a great trade that was.

I wonder if Sammy is getting nervous because at halftime Lamar isn’t looking that great.

Like I said - hard to beat Kelce and Mahomes this time of year. The first half KC won the game. Lamar can't win a big game. End of story and I will say that until he wins. No excuses, it just is what it is. As Ric Flair said - in order to be the man, you gotta beat the man. In other words, you ain't ..... until you win the big one.

End of the day, just another game, sun rises tomorrow, life goes on.

TD

Holy crap. Lions are running the ball George, you may well be right on that one.

TD

Hats off to the Chiefs, the excuses are loud and many already, not buying any of it, you turn the ball over twice inthe end zone, more Personal fouls then I can count, Lamar just could not extend drives, defense locked in after the 1st quarter but damage was done.....let's go NFC!!

49ers laying an egg. Never thought I’d see two number one seeds go out like this. Thought we’d be having a SF Ravens SB. Guess not.

Hats off to the 49ers, helluva a comeback, well deserved. That said, the Detroit head coach should be fired. Yes the 49ers seized momentum and deserve all the kudos, they played lights out 2nd half. BUT Detroit head coach made 2 bonehead 4th down decisions as well as terrible play calling on last drive and clock management. Idiot. Again, though, I give credit to the offense of the 49ers, they figured out their form when it mattered. Great game
TD

Two competitive games, as a fan with no dogs in either fight, that's all I can ask for.

Ravens gonna Raven, FIVE 15 yard personal foul penalties, taunting, head butts, cheap shots, on and on it goes, the taunting penalty killed that one drive, the same player fumbles on the one foot line, no TD, Lamar comes up small.

Again.

Lions; Mother of God.

Blow a 17 point lead, then as Tom said, going for it TWICE on fourth down, Christ, just take the field goals, that river boat gambler crap cost the team a trip to the Super Bowl.

Man do I feel for Lions fans, that one is going to hurt.

For a long time.
