NBA Playoffs (3 Viewers)

I watched that game...
1st and 4th were pretty even...
2nd and 3rd were strange advantages...
it was a good game...
I thought Boston was gonna win it...

Their win probability was 94% at one point in game one, 96% in game two.

They lost both.

They're done.

It doesn’t really matter. There is no way the NBA will allow the Lakers/LeBrons to lose to anyone.

The Lakers haven't even been to the playoff in eight years. If there is a conspiracy to make them win, it hasn't been working too well for the last decade. If you watched the game last night or any of the first two rounds, the Lakers were the best team by a long shot. They destroyed the Rockets and Portland. They ran the Nuggets off the court last night. There is no conspiracy at work. They are the best team so far. LeBron and AD are men among boys.

I get a kick out of people with conspiracy theories on today's sports...
to really believe that any professional sport's league...
would actually jeopardize the integrity and value of their multi billion dollar golden goose...
by colluding in cheating to help a team win a championship...
is just off the charts unbelievable...
too much talk radio from fanatics crying foul cause their team loses...
it's just ridiculous...
absolutely absurd...^&grin...^&grin...^&grin

Oh absolutely....................like the people who claim the NFL greased the skids to allow the Patriots to dominate the league for 20 years.

They were fined 2.5 million dollars and lost two #1's and two #3's between spygate, deflategate and cameragate.

Yeah, the league was all out of the Patriots.....sure they were.

Like the Miami Heat fans who are whining tonight on Twitter about how the league is going to force a game 7 in the Eastern Conference finals.

Yup, all 11 Heat fans are upset.....................

Yeah, I have no clue how the NBA survived all those years when the Lakers sucked.

Thank God they're good again or the 27 people who still give two ****s about the NBA would be upset.

I have no need to cry foul seeing as how my two home teams have won 8 of the last 20 championships.

On the other hand, the NBA is the only major sport in the US that has had a referee and/or umpire be convicted of betting on games that he actually officiated. At the time television ratings experts all agreed that his conviction would cost the NBA hundreds of millions of dollars in lost revenue. On the contrary, revenues and rating rose after that incident.

Something tells me that the NBA could certainly survive any integrity issues, if not profit from them.

Jason....wait...wait...wait...back up just a bit...you said...

"There is no way the NBA will allow the Lakers/LeBrons to lose to anyone."

that's unfounded...

I think you're now saying a rogue referee influenced some games years ago...
not the NBA...

I watched bits and pieces of games this year.......................as far as the playoffs, same thing.

Last night I watched a total of about 5 minutes of that game.

The officiating was AWFUL, beyond AWFUL whenever I tuned in and that went for calls on BOTH teams, not just the Celtics.

And this idiotic concept they have now where you can challenge a call slows the game down and most of the time, it's a ticky tack thing that could go either way.

The sport bores me to tears, everyone heaving up 3 pointers, BORING...........................

I was merely pointing out the the NBA can clearly survive questions of integrity.

AD at the buzzer!!! Great game last night. Vogel is doing a fantastic job coaching the Lakers. He made an adjustment to shutdown Harden in the Houston series. Last night he brings in Rondo with 2 seconds left and he makes a perfect inbounds pass to AD who drains the game winning three with 0.0 on the clock. That has to be a crusher for Denver who had scrapped back to take the lead.

clutch shot by AD at the buzzer for sure...
they called it the "Mamba shot"...
Caruso's dunk got them off the bench...
good game...
hope they keep it up...

Maybe a triple crown in the works for LA. The Dodgers, Lakers, and Rams are rolling. The Lakers and Dodgers have the best chance, but the Rams dismantled the Eagles yesterday as well to start the season 2-0.

LOS ANGELES, CA—NBA players are honoring the life of Ruth Bader Ginsburg this week by wearing pretty lace collars just like Notorious RBG used to wear. In a touching show of respect for the late Justice Ginsburg, and in solidarity with her progressive cause, Lebron James and the LA Lakers took to the court yesterday wearing a stunning variety of delicate white collars inspired by RBG's wardrobe.

According to several commentators on ESPN, the virtual teleconference crowd fell silent in reverent awe as the players all knelt down and chanted "RBG! RBG! RBG!"
"Yeah, RBG was an amazing person," said LeBron James after the game. "I have her biography right here and I totally read it right before the game. She was a judge. That's cool, I respect that. Judges judge things and not everyone can do that. She believed in Black Lives Matter and being on the right side of history and stuff."
Power forward Anthony Davis also expressed his happiness with the collars. "It's good to do this and show our respect for what's her name."

Despite a furious comeback attempt, LeBron and Unibrow lost last night, the latter with a whopping two rebounds.

If he hadn't hit that miracle shot the other night, he and LeBron would be down 2-1.

Silver had better get with the refs and fix this pronto, this is totally against the script Silver wrote..........................

Murray is a beast too BTW, holy smokes.

maybe the refs didn't get the memo from the NBA that they would not allow Lebron/Lakers to lose to anyone......

The Celts are wearing jerseys tonight that say "Free $59" and "Dunkin Donuts or Death".
