NCAA Football 2019 (2 Viewers)

Shouldn't the monkey be named pole assassin?

Leaving his wife for a stripper; what could go wrong?

I've dated two strippers in my life; neither relationship ended with a stroll down the aisle.

Then again, a kid did not get attacked on halloween either.

Monkey see, monkey do. Poor Sark. He was coaching while drunk at SC. Now he has another monkey on his back at Texas. Maybe they should fire the coach and hire the monkey. At least the monkey might instill some toughness in a Sark team with his aggressive simian attitude. Eight win Sark is about as tough as cookie dough on the Fourth of July.

The only part of the playoff “rankings” that made any sense was UGA at No. 1.

In what world are the Sooners 8th at 9-0??

Love how they put GA 1st, Bama 3rd so that if Bama beats GA, GA falls no further than 3rd and stays in the playoff, which lines up for them to have a rematch in the championship game.

What a farce.

Kentucky lost its third straight game (to Tennessee) after starting 6-0. UK Time of possession was 46 min and had over 600 yds in total offense. Hard to lose with stats like that but the defense was a complete no show. Can still finish 9-3 with a weak schedule remaining but the chance of a special season is gone. Chris

i see Michigan State had quite a game yesterday after knocking off Michigan..............:rolleyes2:

Adios playoffs for them.

Another lost weekend for the local boys as the Terps took their traditional beating against PSU and the USNA took their traditional beating against Notre Dame. Navy, at 2-7, will have to find a way to win a game if they hope to avoid a 2-10 season, while the Terps will be fortunate to finish 6-6 after starting 4-0, as they still have to play #3 MSU and #7 Michigan. Been long seasons for both Navy and UMd. -- Al

Navy used that triple option for many years to at least stay competitive with more talented teams. But those days now seem over. There doesn't appear to be any Plan B. You just can't run a 1921 style offense anymore and they don't have the flexibility to recruit more talent with the higher academic standards. Maybe it's time to downgrade the schedule.

Farce, maybe. But I still don’t think anyone beats Georgia this year - including Bama. Unless the Dawgs have an unusually bad day or run of luck at some point, they look just about unbeatable.

PS Don’t gamble based on my prediction ;)

I especially wouldn’t think the Bama that showed up last night could pull it off. They definitely need to thank their defense and a young LSU quarterback.

My second favorite college football story after the stripper/monkey attack is now the UCF tailgate fight. In particular, the grill master who kept on cooking while a riot that resembled the final moments of the Alamo unfolded around him. But he put it best:

“I had to stay on the grill,” the person wrote on Twitter. “I was NOT trynna lose them ribs.”

Anyone care to explain how Purdue isnt in the ranked after not beating one, but two "Top 5" teams this season???????????????^&confuse^&confuse

Ive had a blast following Illinois since they beat PSU in that 9 OT game. They have been playing like a team possessed. Too bad for them they caught their rhythm late.

Overall, Id say it's a ho-hum college football year. I really dont see anyone standing out over all the rest. Traditional powerhouses are history, more unique programs like Cinncinnati, Coastal Carolina, UK, etc are having really memorable seasons (which is a plus).

You murder me.............:)

Had to look that one up; what a melee, punches flying everywhere, bodies flying, but that grillmaster kept on grilling.

He's got a future as a short order cook.

My wife's school, Miss State, had their largest comeback in school history, a 28-3 deficit to beat Auburn. She's never liked Auburn. ^&grin Chris

Things have really derailed for a lot of top programs. USC, LSU, Florida, Florida St., Stanford, and Texas. Texas lost for the fifth time in row for the first time since the 1950s. And they lost at home to 1-8 Kansas after giving up 57 points. "Seven Win" Sark is working his magic there. He probably closes the door at night and falls on the ground laughing at all the schools that are willing to pay him millions to destroy their football teams.

There is a bizarre rule in the NCAA that came to light in the Miami-Florida St. game. A team can't spike the ball unless there are at least 3 seconds left on the clock. So if a team gets a first down and the clock stops with 2 seconds, they can't line up and spike the ball even if they do it before the game clock expires. By rule the refs declare the game over even if there is still a second on the clock.

I saw that call as it happened. Caught the tv commentators, and probably the coaches, by surprise as well as me. Not sure the purpose of the rule but I'll bet it's a teaching moment in this week's practices.

Of course as an FSU guy, I loved the game but *** kind of rule is that??? I never knew it and thought I new all the dummy rules. This one takes the cake though b/c I always thought you could spike it and rush on the field goal unit. Now, in this case, I guess Miami had a 1% chance of winning as it was too long of a FG and a long Hail Mary, but..........stranger things happen.

Again, bizarre rule, I cannot see a reason for it.

USC/UCLA.

At the LA colosseum.

Both teams in their iconic home uniforms.

Still an event, I'm enjoying the game.

I'm glad someone is. Painful to watch this SC team. So much talent wasted. One of the weakest SC teams since Paul Hackett. And that's saying a lot with the terrible coaches that we have had. Lame Kiffin. "Seven Win" Sark (drunk or sober). Clay "Shazam" Helton.
