NCAA Football 2019 (1 Viewer)

The woke NCAA likely won't impose any type of penalty to stop these fake injuries. It will be deemed a player safety issue. I would put a limit on the number of game stoppages that can occur due to an injury. After that point, the team has to the option take a penalty or TO if the player can't get off the field. Particularly in the 4th quarter.

The TN fans apparently welcomed Lame Kiffin back to Knoxville by throwing a bunch of stuff on the field. The media is overhyping it as usual. Talking about punishing the entire program. I'm not sure when our society became all about punishing entire groups of people. How about identify the individuals responsible and ban them from the games? And how does someone throw a golf ball from the stands and hit the coach standing on the field a few hundred yards away? Was that Sandy Koufax? There hasn't been a fan toss like that since the Detroit Piston fan hit Ron Artest with a water bottle to set off a brawl.
Kiffin is an arrogant jerk but like William Shatner he has at least learned to be self-deprecating about it. He got off some good lines after the game: "I got hit with a golf ball, but at least whoever threw it was smart enough to throw a dirty range ball."

You'd be surprised...........I remember a playoff game, Vikings vs Cowboys in MN back in the mid 1970's, Cowboys scored late on a controversial play, someone threw nip bottle and it drilled the ref off the dome, I think it came from the upper deck, poor guy, that's gonna leave a mark.

I watched the Ole Miss TN game, it was a great game. The call that caused all of the issue honestly was not controversial on the spot after the review. The receiver for TN unfortunately had the ball cupped around his stomach, he reached out with the non ball hand to steady himself, but his knee was down, end of story - short of yard to gain - MS ball. The TN fans went nuts and it was more than a few, literally field littered with garbage in both endzones and both sidelines. I usually think the media overblows it, but after watching it live, it delayed the game by over 20mins. The TN fans should be punished, not the team. The Volunteers coach met Kiffin in midfield and you could see he was embarrassed and wanted to throw his hands up too. It actually screwed up the end of the game for both teams. MS should have been able to run out the clock, but they looked dead after the 20 min break. TN offense also looked anemic even though they got it darn near in the endzone for the winning score. Long story short, it was a great game to pick to watch!

More proof that the polls are garbage.

Ohio State continues to climb in the polls, despite losing to Oregon.

Oregon is terrible. They lost to Stanford and on Friday night Cal (one of the worst team in college football), almost beat them.

I remember Fran Tarkenton being hit with a snowball while making a pass. Chris

I was at a political rally a few years ago and they were selling bottled water but requiring the vendors to take the caps off the bottles. I was stumped about that precaution. The only explanation that I ever came up with was after watching my son twist his water bottle until the cap popped off like a rocket. It sounds a bit like a gun when it pops. Back in college at USC someone had the bright idea to hand out these cards to the students who held them over their heads to form some type of design at halftime. Of course after this exercise ended they start throwing these things around Coliseum. Fans were getting beamed by hundreds of these lethal spinning cardboard squares like something out of the Zapruder film. So many great ideas in our society.

A RARE Saturday off from work to watch some College Football!! And some good games in progress, Kansas 1-5, is giving no.3 Oaklahoma all they can handle and Illinois is looking to score against Penn state in a very close game....wonder what the working folk are doing?🤣🤣🤣🤣

The Alabama -Tennessee game had a wild 4th qtr with 5 TDs scored (4 by Alabama). Chris

Another tough day for my local boys. USNA were a 4 TD underdog to #2 Cinncy, played them tough but lost by 7. Terps just outmatched by Minnesota and lost. A lost weekend. -- Al

The two teams that will continue to rocket up the polls no matter who they play, or how close they come to losing, are Oregon and A&M.

The math is simple, the higher they are in the polls the easier it is to move Ohio State and Alabama into the CFP.

Good game for USNA as they beat Tulsa 20-17. Navy attempted only 4 passes and completed 0. Haven't seen that in a while. Only Navy's 2nd win, now 2-6. -- Al

That Navy interception in the end zone in the 3rd quarter with the score tied was ridiculous.

Talk about not giving up on a play……

I watched Stanford lose to Washington and now they are 3-5. They aren’t even mediocre.

However, thanks to the idiots who vote in the polls they remain one of the best college football teams of 2021.

After all, they beat Oregon, who beat Ohio State. Thus, they are an elite program.

Wait, what?

Another tough day in College FB for me.......................... FSU loses to Clemson..................Ole Miss loses to Auburn.................Michigan blows it against MSU................PSU can't play a full game, drops to OSU........................NC is too inconsistent and drops to Notre Dame.............................Pitt blew it against Miami......................

Did I mention Dumbo beat my Noles........................infuriating. I think he started to dance at the end of that game, had to go throw up.

Jeez

TD

USC squeaked out a close win against AZ in an almost empty Coliseum. So quiet you could hear fans chewing popcorn in the stands. Arizona is the worst team in the PAC and one of the worst teams in college football who have now lost 20 games in a row. But they kept this one close and scored 34 points on USC's lousy defense. To top it off, the Trojans lost their best player to an injury. Probably for the season.

My wife's alma mater, Miss State, beat our #12 Kentucky Wildcats (who played more like pussy cats). Mike Leach's air raid offense at MSU is steadily improving and should be a solid bowl team by end of season. KY needs to bounce back at home against Tennessee this weekend. Chris

My new all time favorite college football scandal has to be the story about the Texas assistant coach who married a stripper who apparently has a pet monkey. The monkey allegedly attacked a kid trick r treating over Halloween. The stripper wife is implying the kid is at fault. As though kids going to someone's house on Halloween should be prepared to defend themselves from a Chimp attack. Here is a Tweet laying it out:

Just to recap, the Special Teams coach at Texas, who played for Mike Price at WSU, left his wife for a former stripper, who went by the name of Pole Assassin. That former stripper’s pet monkey, who performed with her when she was the Pole Assassin, bit a kid on Halloween.

Shouldn't the monkey be named pole assassin?

Leaving his wife for a stripper; what could go wrong?

I've dated two strippers in my life; neither relationship ended with a stroll down the aisle.

Then again, a kid did not get attacked on halloween either.
