Nfl 2013 (2 Viewers)

Well, time for this BURGH fan to gloat who lives in Baltimore. Thanks to John "I throw the red flag whenever possible" Harbaugh, I missed the end of the Steelers win in Green Bay (A fantastic game according to Yahoo Game Channel). He throws a challenge flag with 2 mins to go, down by 20 on a kickoff return b/c his own player stepped on the end line to get a touchback. For those following along at home, his player got drilled at the 5 after running it out. Long story short, fitting justice, next play from the 20, Flacco flubs the snap, Patriots recover and run in for a touchdown!! Final score now is 41 to 7. Thanks Harbaugh, end of the Green Bay game was exciting but instead we are treated to this. Honestly, the AFC is going to be nuts next week, already bought my Cincy Bengal gear, whole family will be yelling GO BENGALS!!!!!!

Kudos to Tom Brady and the Patriots for making this potentially possible~!

If the Bears can win tonight, they will win the division. Yay! Go Bears!

So who's going to win the NFC Central, the 9-7 Bears or the 8-7-1 Packers, can't wait to find out next week.

And the Cardinals at 11-5/10-6 go home.

What a joke, not to mention the division winner gets a HOME playoff game.

Yep, a total farce.

And I didn't get to see it, but what a curb stomping the Patriots gave Terrell Suggs and the Ravens, 41-7.

Have fun in the off season Terrell you overstuffed, overrated gasbag.

The only thing I can think is

`Prophet!' said I, `thing of evil! - prophet still, if bird or devil! -
Whether tempter sent, or whether tempest tossed thee here ashore,
Desolate yet all undaunted, on this desert land enchanted -
On this home by horror haunted - tell me truly, I implore -
Is there - is there balm in Gilead? - tell me - tell me, I implore!'
Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

Let us speak of Suggs, the infernal Harbaugh and the Ravens "nevermore."

And the NFC East is nothing to write home about.

The Eagles could finish 10-6, not great but decent enough.

Some team will get left out in the NFC: 49ers, Saints/Panthers or Cardinals. A shame.

49ers should win tonight. As the Panthers face the Falcons, they will probably win the division. That leaves the 49ers, Saints and Cardinals fighting for two spots. As the 49ers and Cardinals play each other, that should take care of one of the spots and Saints play Bucs in NO, so Saints should be in. Cards will probably be the one left out.

Hey, Sammy, I know your team got humiliated yesterday (as a Jets fan, I've been there many a time; who can forget the whipping the Patriots gave them back in 2010) and you're probably pretty angry and ticked and embarassed (and maybe all of them at the same time), but you have to do what the players do when they lose: just take it and take the good natured ribbing we're giving you here.

Heck, they still have a shot at the playoffs.

Yes it was, but the Jets came to New England in the second round of the playoffs and beat them.

So there you go.

Sorry Brad, but I'm neither humiliated, or embarrassed, pissed off my Ravens played so poorly for sure!! But the Sun came up today, and I'm still breathing so its a good day, as George and I discussed the other day it's only a game not life, hopefully next year the Ravens will field a better team, I hope they finish the season with a win but at this point I think it's time to move on to next season...Sammy

Two of the perennially best divisions, the NFC East and the NFC North have really fallen on hard times the last couple of seasons. The Giants won the Division at 9-7 in 2011, the Red Skins won the Division at 10-6 last year, and the Eagles or the Cowboys will win the Division at either 10-6 (Eagles) or 9-7 (Cowboys) this year. It was only 2 seasons ago (2011) that the Packers won the NFC Norris Division at 15-1, and this season the winner will be either 9-7 (Bears) or 8-7-1 (Packers).

Meanwhile, the NFC West, which was a joke for years (remember Seattle winning the Division and hosting a playoff game a 7-9), and the AFC West (only 2 seasons ago the Broncos won the Division at 8-8) have suddenly become the premier divisions in football.

The only staple in the NFL over the past dozen years or so have been the New England Patriots, who have made the playoffs all but one year, won the Division all but one or maybe two years, gone to 5 Super Bowls and won 3, and that to me, says everything about Brady and Belichek. I will curse Bill Parcells to my dying day for stepping down so late after the 1990 Super Bowl that Belichek had already taken the job with the Browns, and we were stuck with Ray f@$king Handley!

Don't get me wrong. I have no complaints about Tom Coughlin, who has done an excellent job (only 2 losing seasons, 2 Super Bowl Wins in 9 years), a no doubt future Hall-of-Famer, but Belichek is the Lombardi of this era. He'll beat yours with his, then beat his with yours. He is just that good. And he cut his teeth with my Giants. I could just shoot Bill Parcells!{sm4}

The greatest gift Santa could give me would be to bring Richie Kotite in to coach at Dallas!! Why not, we've tried everything else.........

if you want Kotite to coach, you're really messed up dude {eek3}

Unfortunately (for the Cowboys, that is) their season is over: Romo is out for the rest of the year with a bad back.

What an incredible game -- maybe season -- changer from Bowman that was. One of the plays of the year!

Cardinals fans everywhere (all 7 of them) want to break something.

And is it true Harbaugh wears cleats on the sidelines?

How in the name of God did I survive a Harbaugh brothers Super Bowl?

Huge win. I will take it.

Also, I watched two games this weekend, Denver v Houston and last night's game. It is impossible to believe that the Texans and Falcons fell as far as they have. Injuries etc have taken their toll but at times both teams seem like they could care less. That is all about heart, or lack thereof, not talent or lack thereof.

I think these things snowball sometimes and that is what happened to the Falcons. They will be healthy next year, plus have some great draft picks, so watch out. Texans seem more messed up because they need a QB and a new coach.
