NFL Season 2016-17 (1 Viewer)

Welcome back Bell to the Burgh! I hope he stays healthy and out of trouble. I like Williams a lot but Bell is something special. Hopefully the Steelers can keep this momentum and consistency. Definitely like the switch to an attacking defense, I would rather give it my best shot on D instead of what Philly did by potshoting the zone to death.

GO STEELERS!

Cowboys are putting a severe beating on the Bengals. Their only saving grace is that they have a half to go.

Redskins beat the Ravens today, in Baltimore. It was the first time since 1955 that the Redskins had won in Baltimore. Ravens had their chances but were creative in losing the game. -- Al

That's two weeks in a row the Browns gagged away a game, they are lucky at this point to be 3-2, should be 1-4.

The Donkos lost to the Falcons, their QB looked absolutely terrible.

The defense can only do so much; if you can't score, you're not going to win in this offense happy league.

Dallas is 4-1, good for them, glad for you Mike, Vikings are 5-0, good for you Pete.

The NFC is pretty strong for sure; Dallas/Atlanta/Minnesota/Green Bay all look pretty good.

AFC has Denver/New England/Pittsburg.

Oh and Brady came back this week, threw for 406 yards, 3 TD's, 127.3 QB rating................not bad for a guy who's had the first month of the season off..............

I was finally able to use my NFL Sunday Ticket cable package (no, I was not dumb enough to pay for it, they offered it to me for free for one year) today and watched tons of games.

I mentioned last year that lots of teams use the pick play. Now? Pick plays should be legal. Everyone does it. Everyone.

Aside from Patriots games and any Sunday night/Monday night/Thursday night games of interest, I haven't watched an NFL game on a Sunday in years, I watch the Red Zone, it's awesome, whip around coverage of every game as each team gets into the red zone. It's fun and exciting, beats the crap out of a kickoff, three plays, punt, commercial, five plays, TD, commercial, kick off, commercial..................ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz........................Red Zone all the way.

George:

The biggest reason why I got the package (other than it being free) is the Niners. I am not watching any of their games this year so I wanted to be able to watch some football.

Agree mate I love your game but the ADVERTS man it is BS !!

Red zone is awesome.

I'm boycotting the league. It doesnt deserve my dollars or eyeballs.

Regardless of the Falcons strong start, I might add.

You're not alone, viewership so far this year is way down.

Impressive win by the Falcons yesterday in Denver, they rolled them, marched up and down the field numerous times.

Figures. They finally look like a pro team and I have to get all principled.

Brad, I defer to you on this as you're a Bears fan; is Bennett this good? He was a beast yesterday, 3 TD's, he's a blocking machine, a monster in the red zone.

How was he on the Bears? Him and Gronk on the same field; oy vey.............

Well after last night, it's time to dial back my thoughts on Denver; I'm going with Pittsburg as the #1 team in the AFC, New England #2. Not sure I can put Denver at #3; depends on what happens to then in Oakland. Their other worldly defense is no longer other worldly, two weeks in a row their safeties and line backers got torched by two tight end sets and running backs.

Plus their QB is just awful.

Beyond awful.

Not signing Ostelburgermystermysterburger may have been a big mistake.

I was happy to see San Diego win. They have been decimated by injuries and involved in some soul crushing loses this year.

not much theory this year in that the AFC North being one of the tougher divisions in 2016, all teams lost today and some how the Ravens (losers of 3 in a row) sit at 3-3 only 1 game behind the Steelers and bengals now at 2-4, who knows maybe the Browns will win 10-strait and join the Cavs, Indians, as the next division winners!!!! at this rate it's anyone's to take if they can get warm, not even hot!!...Sammy

One of the season's biggest surprises is that the Redskins are 4-2 and in 2nd place in the NFC East (unless the Cowpokes fold against the Pack). I'll take 4-2 because I was expecting 2-4. Didn't expect the wins against B-more or Philly. Close games but a win is a win is a win...:wink2: -- Al

You never know what you are going to get with the Steelers this year. One game they are the 1972 Dolphins, the next game they are the 2008 Lions.

worst call of the day...

Richard Sherman's mugging of Julio Jones on the most critical play of the game...

I watched the end of this game...I saw this...

1:57 left...Atlanta trailing by 2...Ryan throws a 4th and 10 bomb to Jones to set up the go ahead field goal...

Sherman just grabbed one of his arms and tackled him before the ball arrived...

even the announcers were screaming about it...

no call...

game over...

Ryan...Atlanta...and their fans got ripped off...

wasn't even reviewable...
