The good, bad and ugly of the November dispatch for me.
GOOD: The releases are mainly from lines I collect so the Bulge and Arnhem releases are of interest. My favourite pieces are "Help at Last" and "Sergeant Bill Fulton", spectacular issues! The Universal carrier is certainly an upgrade from my D-Day version however the D-Day version is still my sentimental favourite ( tracks aside ) because of the Mickey Mouse camo. The M-20 looks good. I'd be interested in a summer version for sure. The new ACW pieces have an old K&C charm to them, almost William Britain's like. Both flag bearers are standouts to me and I might get them just for ACW representation in my collection. There are a few retirements I've got to pick up. All in all a nice monthly dispatch.
BAD: I found this month's dispatch confusing as the Bulge pictures were not backed up by the same releases of U.S M.P. and German prisoners and one of the ACW flag bearers were mistakenly pictured as something else. On the set "Help at Last" I note that the wounded figure being carried does not have a camo smock. Is that an oversight on a demo model and to be corrected before mass production? Is he painted correctly? Did some Arnhem paras not have Dennison smocks? ^&confuse
UGLY: I'm still bitter and can't let it go that my favourite line (OMG) has been P'd on making the figures grossly overpriced despite the great look. "Help at Last" is $99! {eek3} I've paid less for AFV's in the not so distant past!
