Fantastic! The Russian figure avalanche continues!!! That's a wonderful Sineus diorama.
Man, you really found some serious treasures. Thanks for sharing the great photos!!

I was so happy to find her! I’ve had the whole King Arthur set for years and she was the only one missing out on the party!!!

Glad you got her Zach. She's the best figure in the set. She's actually the only one I have from the group. Mine is painted in more of a blue dress than the later ones that were in black.

Zach,
How many of that elephant were made? When I got mine from Russ, he had just taken it back from a widow of a collector who passed on, he originally sold it to him. When I asked, he told me it was the only one he ever had to sell. I bet it has to be one of the lowest production of the Russian Elephants b/c I had never seen it until he offered it to me for sale. I am not sure if you remember, but I picked it up at MFCA when I picked up those 2 Aeroart Chinese Chariots.

Anyhow, it is an incredible piece, the elephants are still my favorite across all toy soldier makers.

Not sure how many. The book, published in 2004 or so, says 20. It has an * though which means still in production. Other then yours and mine, I don’t recall ever seeing one for sale.

Recently picked up this small diorama / vignette. I don't know anything about it other then that I liked it! Not even sure who made it. I do have a figure from Aeroart that is very similar to the herald and also the tent, but don't know if this whole thing is aeroart or not.
The star of the show is the tent itself. It's painted all the way around as you can see. Also, interestingly, the inside of the tent is finished even though it is unseen. I took a photo with flash to try to show it, but all you can see is the entrance.

Perhaps a part of "Le Camp du Drap D'or" Field of the Cloth of Gold
Encounter between François I and Henry VIII 07 to 24 June 1520

Another nice little Vignette. I hadn't seen this ever up for sale, so when I saw it, I had to grab it.

You really hit the motherload my man. You must be beyond ecstatic!
That is a wonderful diorama. Not all of them had the mounted piece with it.
Congratulations on all of these amazing finds!!!

This is technically not a Russian miniature as John Churchill, First Duke of Marlborough, is a First Legion kit but I had it painted by Attica Miniatures of Russia. They added a base and substituted a stainless steel sword for the original.

Oh, it counts!!! Painted in Russia works for me!!! Gorgeous figure brad!

Brad,

That looks fantastic! Just a wonderful piece. I love the way it's presented on a very nice base with some of beautiful groundwork. Congrats on this great acquisition!
It's a Russian piece if painted in Russia. FL sculpts are made in Russia anyways, so it's Russian throughout. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Joe

Thanks Joe. The base was their idea. They suggested a few different bases and type of wood and I picked the one ultimately used. It’s my favorite piece!

Brad

It came out great from top to bottom. In person I'm sure it demands all one's attention!

Joe

Here is a bust I received on Friday from Attica Miniatures. It depicts a Republican soldier from the Spanish Civil War. The size is 1/16. The photos were made by Attica.

I bought both of these mainly for the shields :) .. I am not a big "ancients" collector, but I thought they were great!

These two beauties just came in the mail.
I generally dislike when companies use the same figure and just repaint it, but I fell in love with these two, so still got them
The first is Bailen of Jerusalem and the second is Leopold V of Austria
