Since I had no idea where to find appropriate castings that could be assembled and posed like in the picture, I approached Alan Caton, asking him if he would know who makes castings that would fit this project.
Much to my excitement, Alan replied that he would make a group for me, and then send them to John Firth to get painted.
Now, here is what you all need to know. Alan used readily available parts that he had to assemble the three mounted figures, but he did not have castings that would make for the two standing Officers.
Now, get this, he went ahead and actually sculpted the two standing Officers, just to make my project possible.
So the vignette I am going to show you guys actually includes two "one of a kind" sculpted figures. The painted figures you will see are the actual master sculpts.
Yes, I am very, very proud of this addition to my collection.

John made up the base to provide a setting for the figures that does match the positions of them on the painting.
