Very atmospheric. I have been thinking about not adding those Germans so I can get other ranges, but they are not easy to resist.
Barbarian reinforcements arrived yesterday. Overnight they have increased their resistance against their Roman adversaries. The Roman Legionaires are putting up a strong and determined defense but it appears that their right flank is in jeopardy. The Barbarians are also trying to penetrate the Romans left flank. The misty woods will certainly be filled with the sound of battle this morning . . . Enjoy . . . .

Hi Mike, this is a wonderful dio, I really enjoy the looks of the dark, misty woods in the background but the Romans in battle are the best part, thanks again for sharing, hope to see more of this dio in the future...Sammy
Thanks Dan . . . . . You wouldn't go wrong adding these Barbarians to your collection . . . they are very well done . . . . .
Here are some more photos of this "melee in the woods" from a higher perspective . . . .

Hi Mike ,
That is absolutely Beautiful from top to bottom , The Forrest seems to capture the imagination of what it would have looked like . Just Fantastic stuff .{bravo}} Thanks for sharing Gebhard
Hello Mike,
super screen{bravo}}
Combat impressive: we guess the sound of blades of Roman swords and the cries of the barbarians!
Thank you for sharing.
Guy.
Stunning pics Mike, just love seeing you at work and how these guys all group up.
The barbarians just standing with their sword in the air and the guy holding the head are a little average in pose but the other barbarians are just fantastic. The colors are very vivid and detailing is spectacular.
Outstanding Mike!!! Your last dio with the Romans was easily one of my favorites. IMO you just topped it with this one. Great figures with a wonderful terrain. Thanks for sharing the pics. Ill have to add this to my screen saver.
This is a great dio Mike. The base and painted background provide a very ominous mood, which I think matches the figures perfectly. Excellent work.

Here is a couple photos I put together using my 2 dioramas. 1 David from TM terrain did for me and the other I did myself. The last photo is just to show how addictive "The Glory of Rome" range really is. This is 1/2 a century. Only 40 more to go^&grin
Excellent pictures Mike, like the overhead shots very much, looks like that base was made for these figures..............are you able to remove the trees for storage purposes or are they fixed to the base?
Mike,Joe,simply great dios with great figures.
