The Stugs, comparions. (6 Viewers)

Classic and sad. Reminds me of that old Star Trek episode where in order to avoid two similar universes meeting, thereby destroying both, the universes are sealed with two combatants, one from each universe, locked in combat, fighting each other for all time.

Re: The Stugs, comparisons.

WOW thats a big statement,IMO TGM is way in front of FL seeing as we company bashing on a STUG thread plus TGM go well with K+C and Figarti as i do like to display them together just MO.
I have no idea what you are trying to say mate and it must be in code because the words themselves make no sense.:D I understand your penchant for controversy and your intentionally offbeat humor but you are a bit too obscure here for most of us.;)

Not really apposite I would suggest. It that episode the combatants were equal. There is none of that here.:)

It's not really that the combatants have to be equal but that the combat is never ceasing. It gets tiresome.

Whether or not I read it, it's here and it ruins this Forum and it turns people off, losing members and inhibiting those who might join. It's really not that funny no matter how many smilie faces you want to put on it.

Well you are entitled to your view but I would say it is much ado about nothing. In any public place, such as a forum, some will like each other, most will get along and some will not. It has NOTHING to do with what anyone collects or doesn't; it is really that simple.:):):)

Totally Illogical, Captain:D:D:D

I don't know that it's much ado about nothing because a constant tone of acriomony can set a tone. If there is a constant state of tension who will want to bother visiting the place. I'm not sure why we can't get along as some of us hardly know each other except for our occasional visits here. That people don't get along is true. That they can't is unfortunate. I'm sure on that point we could agree.

I see its the same old story , In the corner to my right its the collectors who dare to collect First Legion . And in the corner to my left the collectors who piss em off . LETS GET READY TO RUUMMMBBLLE !!! Ok gentlemen I want a clean fight no Flaming, Cursing , and no hitting below the belt . Touch gloves and at all time protect yourselves .....

This is what I don't understand? I collect every brand. I don't understand the need to defend any of them, they all stand on their own. I don't like everything that every one of them produces, but that's ok, the stuff I do like I don't feel the need to defend.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, why don't we all just respect that? There are plenty of things I like that people look at me like I have 2 heads, I don't take it personally. I think that may be the case here, some are taking it personally, really no need too, I really truly don't think anybody's opinion is being expressed to personally denigrate (sp.) another's likes/dislikes or opinions.

I couldn't agree more Damian. I would like to know why anyone would care (with the exception say of maybe the manufacturer) why I like or dislike a certain brand. My time is important to me and I certainly make better use if it than bandying words with those who have a different opinion. I thought for the most part we were adults here and not still in the schoolyard. :(

I personally collect: K/C, Figarti, and First legion......K/C and Figarti styles are very similar to one another and that's what I "like and exspect" when I collect them......When I collect First Legion I collect them with a different intent: displaying them as separately from the others in a diorama set up....ONE BATTLE...STALINGRAD......It is the uniqueness of style and realism that attracts me to First Legion.....Therefore it seems to me that those folks who collect K/C and Figarti and like that style....FINE....GREAT.....But I don't exspect FL to conform to the K/C style.......If they ever did that: "I would not collect FL any longer"......Preference of style is up to the individual's taste......Personally I prefer and like the FL style.....but I still collect Figarti and K/C.....no need for arguements.....PEACE TO ALL:)

Is this directed at my post or are you saying I was wasting my "breath" in what I typed? I agree with your words that's for sure which is what in the gist of things I was trying to say.
