Every point Republicans make gets disputed by Democrats; every point Democrats make gets disputed by Republicans.

You'd think after 250 or so years, we as a country could unite and get on the same page; never going to happen.

We are, have been and always will be a divided nation, 50% for one party, 50% for the other.

Just a very sad situation.

The video is truly bizarre. The plane seemed to be landing normally but there was some type of fire or explosion underneath the plane and then it rolls over on its back. Almost like the landing gear collapsed or the tail section hit the runway and it landed on its belly. Incredible that no one was killed.

I was reading that Canada has the largest coastline in the world but only has four aging submarines. They basically spend no money on defense because they rely on the US but then stick it to the US when it comes to trade. Then play the victim when the US suggests an equal playing field. It's time to go spider monkey on the ice tomorrow night.

Buster, most work in the state offices, I don't know what percentage. I was out on the roads early that morning and didn't have a problem driving. Of course all businesses were open so the taxpayers could work.

Speaking of return to work, my wife's office never closed nor provided work from home. Now, after an ownership change, they have a few who have taken it upon themselves and they are hourly employees, not that that makes a difference, but technically they are paid for the time they work. Long story short, they are having to now fully publish a policy and one of the leaders sitting at the table with my wife said, well I hope you are prepared to recruit new people. My wife, bless her, said I am prepared to recruit folks who want to work in the office at a place of business where they have to interact with other human beings as that what the job takes.............................amazing simplistic view but say it out loud and all of a sudden it is political. Go figure.

Conflating "saving" money with not "spending" money. These are not the same things. If I decided not to buy a Ferrari, I don't suddenly have $100K. I have just not gone further into debt. The idea of giving people money based on not spending it for other purposes is one of the single dumbest ideas in governmental history. It is so profoundly stupid that I'm beginning to wonder what the objective is.

Ok, asking for a friend........................if you work in the food service industry, how do you accomplish that by working from home? Also, how is it you can show up to scream and yell (protest), but you can't show up for work? I am sorry, and this is not political in the least, when did it become wrong to show up to your place of employment? I mean WTF are we coming to? Biggest crock of crap I have ever seen. Jeez, if people could simply employ common sense, work ethic, and courtesy, we would be in a better place then we are now.

On another note, I am not a Putin fan, but about time someone called all sides to the carpet so to speak. Nuff said.

Canada was the better team last night. I still don't know what the 4 Nations things is about but it was fun in the way that hated fueled rivalries can be. Maybe the Russians can play Ukraine next year. The Swedes and Finns must be perplexed. They probably thought this was some type of feel-good exhibition. The "Miracle on Ice" hype was embarrassing. Enough of that already. This was nothing like that event.

See George Binner wasn't a fluke. He should have gotten the star of the game. All the TV announcers were heaping praise on the way he held Canada in the game. I wanted the USA to win but it was nice knowing a St Louis Blue did so well. That woman that sang the Canadian National Anthem was godawfull, a complete disgrace to the song.

LA Mayor Karen Bass firing the LA fire chief claiming she did not adequately advise her of the risks of the recent fire in advance. Something widely known by anyone who watched the weather channel in the days preceding the fire. I'm not saying the DEI fire chief shouldn't be fired for incompetence but talk about passing the buck. Everyone from the CA governor down should be impeached. That Granny Clampett chief of police in New Orleans must be loving life as everyone has forgotten about her incompetence due to the moving news cycle.

This winter, home heating/natural gas costs are through the roof, we're paying 30%/35% more than last year, my bill for January was 450.00, 300.00 of which was a "delivery fee"................these rates were approved by our governor and the stooges around her...............people have been raising Hell over it.............so our brilliant Governor announced a 5% decrease in prices for March and April, but the gas companies can recoup that over time.

Yeah, that 5% will save us.

The rate increases are funding all sorts of green new deal crap in this state; i think it's time to move.

Oh yeah, and a large portion of your gas and electric bills goes to help subsidizes your moonbat neighbors' installation of heat pumps and solar panels.
