Say what you will about the Unabomber who passed away today but his philosophy about mankind becoming slaves of technology was dead on. It's unreal how much has changed in just the last few decades. You can't go anywhere where people are not staring at their phones. My son would be on his computer from dawn until he collapsed from exhaustion if given the opportunity. Every kid I know is exactly the same. Adults are not much better.
Was watching the last inning of the Oregon/ORU regional game last night, tied 8-8 with Oregon batting; they had two on with one out, the stands were a sea of people standing holding up their IPhones trying to capture the game winning hit, which came shortly thereafter.
We've become a society of people who are glued to their IPhones, all they do is stare at it all day long like zombies.
What a concept.
