Crowds at our National Parks. Visited Zion, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon North Rim and a few more last week and, Zion in particular, had very large crowds, shuttle buses full, etc. The Grand Canyon North Rim is no longer a "little known gem" in the National Park system. Annual visitation in Zion has increased from 2.5M ten yrs ago to 5+M. Okay, I realize I was part of the crowd and we still had a wonderful time. First visit to these national treasures and may be a once in a lifetime experience. Chris

I finally figured out what annoys me the most. In a very educated Country where you are taught from day one that intelligence and education are paramount..................riddle me this..................how on earth are certified morons elected to national offices??? You need competence in every other job in America but that one.

A few reasons and there are many more.

1. To many people vote straight ticket
2. Biased news
3. Only the politicians that can be bought receive the most campaign contributions from the big corporations.

Ok, another annoyance - Greta Thunberg. This is a case where MANDATORY MINIMUM SENTENCING should be a must. How many times can you get arrested for causing havoc and disruption and continue to get away with it. She is unhinged.

I'm not paid millions to coach football, but if you need only to advance the ball a few inches, what is the thinking that your best option is to lineup five yards or more behind the line instead of a QB sneak? The Eagles run an unstoppable QB sneak play, but so many others run shotgun and get stuffed. Sometimes they double down on this insanity and run a long developing gadget play that always gets blown up.

could not agree more. They should employ the kiss doctrine in these instances keep it simple stupid. Pad on pad best man wins.

Driver who was going 104 MPH on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu when he lost control and killed four Pepperdine students. That is flat out murder. I don't understand how drivers who kill people while driving recklessly are any different than someone murdered in any other way. He should spend the rest of his life in jail.

Amen to that. Drinking and driving is potential murder. The acceptence and light sentences that accompany this crime is a real pet peeve of mine. I'm very extreme in my view on the subject, so suffice it to say that I feel punishment should be biblical in the case of drinking and driving that results in death of innocent party. -- Al

College football teams that fake injuries. This happened time and again last weekend. A player on defense looks to the sideline then suddenly grabs his leg and goes down like a soccer player to slow down the tempo of the game. Also the late substitutions in which the defensive player gets to stroll off the field and they have to wait for his replacement while the play clock runs down.

Reading about this phenomenon where people rent their homes out and then the tenants refuse to pay rent or leave. Some guy in Seattle is living in a van because the person who rented his home now won't leave. In fact, that person is renting the home to others! Unreal. And it takes months or years of legal proceedings to evict anyone. There was a horror film a few years ago along similar lines and the plot seemed wildly implausible.

The fact that the Department of Homeland Security hired a former employee and spokesperson for the PLO as a vetting officer for immigration. The PLO is a designated terrorist organization, how on earth does this happen in a world of electronic background checks. This not only annoys me but literally scares the crap out of me. What are we doing as a Country? How is this tolerated. You can google this story, it is on everything from msn to fox. This should be the scandal all press should be investigating.

I love Christmas as much as the next guy; get togethers with family and friends, the TV specials, the songs, the decorations, thinking back to my youth and all the great Christmas times I had..........

But people jumping the gun annoys me; where I live, some people had their trees up and decorations up the week after Halloween...........plus now the entire month of November is black Friday? Not to mention I started hearing Christmas songs last Friday and Thanksgiving is still a week away.

How about if we celebrate one holiday at a time.................
