Robin,

Great stuff! Only suggestion is that it would look so much better with a "real U-Boot" (Come on, Andy!)

Also, could you please tell me the origins of the "Dockyard Cranes"? Some of us have been looking for years for such an item.

Regards,

Bob

Why thank you Bob. The cranes are made by Figarti under their German railway series, they swivel. Hobby Bunker still has them. Robin.

And they are reduced as well Bob to 100USD a bargain.

Excellent Robin, another winner {bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}

Outstanding scene Robin! As to using a 1/30 Uboot, haven't done the math, but that would probably extend into the next room. :wink2:

Looking fwd to the next New Guinea pics. Chris

1643 donnington castle newbury. The royalist army strengthens the castles defences with earthwork bastions and storm poles. A battery positioned on a cavalier (raised earthwork platform) contains one of the many cannons. Robin.

Robin

Beautiful as usual. Am wondering if you ever have any problem matching back the pikes and flags with their original pikemen and flag bearers. {sm2}

Happy Dispatches Day

Thanks Martyn, this is my answer for missing out on Napoleonics when I started collecting 8 years ago, that series too daunting now to consider. On the ground floor with ECW, really like the colour and the chance to do multiples to build up armies. Robin.

The more of this series I collect OD, the less I get hung up about which figure is on whose side and what item did they come with. As stated the armies interchanged on the battle ground depending who was likely to win on the day. Finding by moving weapons etc around I get a new look figure, as collecting multiples lends itself to this series. Love the flags and drummers in particular. Robin.

Robin

I didn't know you were a NAPS collector too !!!

Looks good,

John
