ps for those that are interested these 2 beautiful shop houses are perfect, mirror backed with 6 internal lights with 3v battery should you wish to light up. As you can see, the policeman is same size as K&C figures. You can find the website.... miniature-stories.com based in Singapore.

Robin,

it's great to see the buildings by Miniature Stories being used in another country, seeing they are based on the shop houses in Singapore.

After many trips up to SE Asia I have seen the similar architecture in other countries and so I thought they would suit, and you have proved that :)

A great set up, well done,

John

Thanks John for your insight. To top it off they are lovely people to deal with. They have another building in the works and also intend to buy their bicycle and side car figure. Robin.

When you get time for another diorama, how about the Fall of Singapore with K&C Brit/Aussies walking past after surrendering ?

You could also use them further up the peninsular in Malaya with a Japanese advance through a town and the locals looking on??

Lots of possibilities here, but why not let the makers in Singapore know of this post too, I'm sure they would love to see it too,

John

Robin...
really good use of your buildings and figures...
great job on the staging and photography...
this is one of your best I think!

Good thought John, i can transfer this existing display, across to pass the shops instead. I have let them know that their product is up on this thread. Robin.

Thank you so much for your purchase, Robin. As a newer brand in the market, it's challenging to gain the trust of long-time collectors, so we're very grateful you decided to give us a shot. It's indeed a great pleasure to see overseas collectors appreciating Singapore's history. Your set up looks great with the King & Country's pieces, and we do hope to see more of such displays by other collectors as well... such as WWII Japanese occupation set ups, etc. Cheers!

Opportunity missed, as a routine sweep reveals nothing of consequence. Robin.
