Great radio set up Robin {bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}

All the best

Okay .... now you did it.
You have reached the peak of DIORAMA making. How are you EVER going to surpass this?{eek3}

The creativity is what impresses me the most. The radio transmitting equipment is fantastic.
It appears that you photocopied some sort of instrument panels and applied them to a block.

Map on the wall fits perfectly and you lit up a special section of the map to show .

The details of the file cabinets, picture of the Emperer and the stove add to the realism.

Figure selection with the rdio operators and th commander goes 100% with the story.

I don't know Robin, you really put yourself out on a limb now!!!!

Like these smaller huts, even though they are not as grand as the big one. Robin.

Robin,

you have raised the bar, setting a new standard, love it :)

The 'comms centre' looks very realistic, especially with the number of operators working at the desks.

Being a cartographer, I love seeing the use of maps, BUT, pity you couldn't find one with Japanese characters, that would have been perfect..... I'll see if I can help?

Well done,

John.

Maybe we can just say that it was a captured US map when the Japanese took Bataan or the Battle of Corregidor?

Thanks John. Will not see these figures very often, because the majority of time the roofs are kept on, mores the pity. Robin.

Don't think they had invaded yet ... Robin stated "Japanese Telegraphers send the coded message on the second of December 1941" that's 5 days before Pearl Harbour.

Great seeing all the little details Robin. :salute::

Steve

Robin, I echo the other comments, simply unsurpassed in details. Wonderful collection of huts. The radio mast, emporer's picture, maps really complete the scene. :salute:: Chris

Duplicata_productions on Ebay has 1/32 Japanese maps and aerial photos. Chris

OOOOPs --- Ya', I missed that line, so scratch the first idea. Good catch, John.
I must have been in a state of awe at what Robin created and my old brain misfired.

So, maybe the Imperial Japanese Army's - Kempeitai or the Imperial Japanese Navy's - Tokubetsu Keisatsutai stole the US map just prior to the opening of hostilities. Either way, still a marvelous setup.

Once again Robin, amazing diorama. I have a modest collection of Japanese, but what you've done here is really impressive work with a nice variety of figures. I love what you did with the huts, both interior and base for the larger hut. Top notch and very enjoyable to look at your various photos!

Send out the 'Tortoise'. Robin.
