time on my hands at last (1 Viewer)

Robin,
Did you repaint the coach? The one I see on Emilio's site is red. I think both color schemes look great.

Joe

No Joe, my paintings skills are terrible. This plastic coach I bought locally looked to much like a toy, so I had friend jazz it up to be more realistic and I think he did do a great job. I went in search for some riders and came across Emilio’s version and luckily the riders could be bought separately. Just added 4 of the JJD horses and bingo one reasonable stagecoach. Robin.

Thanks Robin. That's a really fine paint job on your coach. The colors the artist selected are perfect together and really pop with beauty and realism.

A massive collection, Robin, packed with details. I see you even have the Iwo Jima flag set, a real highlight of your dio.
I was going through some of my old Pacific pictures this morning and came across this one, reminds me a bit of your scene (at least the figures).

Good one Robin !:salute::

Can't say I've seen any Safari dioramas like this before so well done for thinking outside the box ! {bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}

Robin...you are the master of utilizing figures and props...really creative...
I love the scene...not something we see often...
an elephant...a jeep...tents...tribesmen toting luggage...
and especially the JJD Sammy Jenkins the Wagoneer figure...
he looks like he was specially sculpted for this scene...
that stick in his hand is the coup de gras...
very creative on your part!

Such an imaginative and picturesque composition Robin, really well done. The woman next to the elephant looks like the the figure that came with the old Figarti French building years ago, and she has been repainted.

Joe

What they said mate absolutely brilliant Robin, bet you enjoyed setting that up.
