Give it time, I'm sure Noah's day will come. I little surprising Tyreese got bit so easily considering his size and strength and everything he'd survived.

On a couple of other forums I belong to, people are ripping this episode, basically saying they hated it.

Really?

If someone hates this episode, then they should just stop watching TV as there is nothing left for them.

Jesus; this is a show about zombies, pop some popcorn, sit back and enjoy it.

I thought it a very effective episode, if a bit more reflective than usual. A very sensitive death episode for the most sensitive of the gang. The poor guy was involved in some of the most horrific and tragic deaths that the group has encountered (not the least of which was the crushing episode with the 2 young girls) so the writers gave him a rather special send-off. -- Al

I love this show and I don't care about what other people are saying about this.

Re: Walking Dead

Beth was annoying even in death. I kept hoping John Belushi would appear and smash her guitar against the wall. A strange episode. I wasn't enjoying it for a long time until the very end. It was almost like one of those artsy films that takes a while to sink in. Thought it did an excellent job portraying the sense of being overwhelmed in a PTSD sense that would be typical of those experiencing so much violence and death. A bit much with some of the overly repetitive flashbacks, but an interesting episode. I can understand why some didn't like it though.

Re: Walking Dead

I enjoy all the episodes some obviously more than others, some are just fillers to get you to the next episode. I did think it was a lot to devote to the death of one character. I too could have done without the artsy filtered flashbacks...............maybe they have a new cinematographer?

I'm really going to have to learn not to read your posts with a mouth full of coffee.......:wink2:

Do not cry for Tyreese. Was planned kill off so the actor could co star in his own Syfy station series. He will be paired with Thomas Jane ( of Punisher fame..) Michael

Re: Walking Dead

I have been hoping that the group could avoid meeting well groomed humans again. Somehow the clean shaved ones are the real, real bad ones. Why are they still on back roads where they cannot scavenge for supplies from all the towns, cities, mini marts, etc. ? Don't they pave any roads in the south? Or have groups of houses? Would maps show streams, creeks, rivers to aim for if out of water? How come I cannot walk or drive anywhere without stumbling on a Rutters, Sheetzes, Turkey Hill gas store, and yet these folks barely can find a barn? It seems Zombie action could be ramped up if any populated area could be visited. So much for the tourist industry in the South, if their greatest claim to fame, based on the series locales, are plenty of unpopulated rural, backward areas with no chance to parch your thirst, gas up your RV, or find a handy restroom. How cool would it be for them to stumble onto a Z motel ONCE IN AWHILE? Just asking? Michael

Re: Walking Dead

Great episode and the plot thickens friend or foe !!

Definitely a foe in my opinion......how does one clean-cut individual suddenly pop out of the bush like he's on a Sunday stroll out picking flowers......?!

Yes, I thought the same thing. I would also have gone Mad Max by this point with a lot of improvised body armor and some type of bad arse zombie mobile. All that aimless walking and hoping for rain did not seem like a great plan for our band of alpha survivors. A definite filler episode but at least we didn't have to endure Beth singing another Jimmy Cliff song.

Re: Walking Dead

Thinking the same thing about Mr. Clean. Red flags and warning sirens. It's an odd thing but I think that is the first time I can remember it raining on the show and it doesn't seem to get cold either. Maybe good weather and the zombie apocalypse go hand in hand.:rolleyes2: What would have been realistic would have been all those filthy dirty survivors stripping down during the rainstorm to try and get a little clean. I mean, it's not a kid's show anyway.^&grin -- Al

So they sleep in a barn with no one on look out for hordes of zombies? I thought these people were smart? Also, is it me or are the special effects weak this year, looks like they are cutting back on zombie make up, some of them look like they are from a bad B movie.

I thought they were on their way to Washington, now they are heading back to Georgia; there are like 4,326 rivers and streams off of 95 in the Virginia area, what gives here?

So is Mr GQ the same guy who left the water for them?

Not sure I'm liking the vibe he throws out....................we'll find out soon enough.

As we approach the magic number of seasons, to guarantee cast residuals for reruns, is there any impetus to hurry up the book plot, before cast members choose to move onto other career choices? How many seasons of a hot, but expensive to create commodity, would the network want to run? My point is that in the book presently , there was a guy super worse than the Govner...I do not want any more people confrontations and the intro of this new guy, sends my no Zombie episodes radar in high gear..Michael

Re: Walking Dead

Still don't know about Aaron and partner. At least they have made it to DC. Still lean towards Rick's cautious side here. -- Al

Re: Walking Dead

I'm losing track of how many people approach this group offering them some sort of wonderful sanctuary.

I hope we're not in for a bunch of non zombie episodes as we get to know the new folks in this latest little slice of heaven...................
