Very neat. This is the same uniform the recruits are seen wearing in the early training/barracks scenes in the classic 1930 'All Quiet on the Western Front'. -- AlI picked up another 14 inch Steiff German Infantryman, this one wearing dunkelblau Feldmutze Cap and Waffenfrock, but with white pants, and jointed knees:
Also picked up this beautiful WWI or earlier French Infantry or Zouave Officer's Kepi:
Always some very nice stuff! Hope you are doing well and the back too!

These are the first nine in a commission of 80 Imperial Romans marching. All 28mm from the excellent Victrix range. Cost per figure in total? £7.50. The guy who paints these is just unbelievable in terms of VFM. 28mm is the future!

Quite the impressive auction, headed by the 11 medal VC grouping of Gordon Campbell, awarded in 1917. Cost estimate in the $500,000 K range. {eek3} -- AlHi All,
I came across this great looking auction catalog by chance. Nice photos. I thought it might be of interest here.
