Mike,
Nice catch.

Thanks Mike. Frontline, before they switched to matte paint towards the end of their Crimean War line, produced some really neat glossy sets. In fact, I am sometimes hard pressed to tell them apart from early King & Country glossies. The glossy Parade Dress line featured famous units at the start of World War I in dress uniforms. You could get sets with a four figure colour party, six men, an officer & NCO, an 11 member band, or a big box with 20 some odd figures. I have their USMC in dress blues (the band is in red) big box set plus an extra add-on of six men. I also have the identical set up with the Black Watch. Both displays have 29 figures. Some of the others in this line included different Scottish regiments, British Guards regiments, Russians, and Germans

I only have three sets from Tradition in my collection now (i.e., the elephant gun, Indian mountain artillery, and Boxer Rebellion Italian Bersaglieri). I have sold off my Napoleonic, American Civil War, and WWI Tradition sets, having replaced them with Frontline, Hiriart, and Britains Premier. However, I just picked up two eight figure sets: No. 750 ADMIRAL LORD NELSON, 1805 and No. 751 THE ROYAL MARINES, 1805, which I will keep because of their unusual and hard to find subject matter.

Thanks to marco55 I received these wonderful Woodland Indians from JJD's "Battle on Snowshoes" series yesterday.
These figures are very nicely done, both in sculpting and painting, and I consider them among John's best work along with the Jacobite Highlanders.

Subs, any plans to do a dio with the T-34. ???

More kits, picked up at the post office today, my latest purchase from Berliner Zinnfiguren. I got 4 more of Ulrich Puchala's Wuerzburg Leibgarde troopers. I think the figure was the show figure at Kulmbach in '86. I now have 6 of them, enough to make a little boxed set.

Prost!

Was thinking of doing a battle of Berlin dio with the Figarti Tiger but I've changed my mind now and will add to my Normandy dio with kc latest British stuff , not got the room now with a second baby on the way mate next month :)

Sounds interesting dio Neil. shame about the comments appearing its your stuff to do with as you please!!! Hope it gets a good price as now with the re-instated interest in russians must be the best time to sell. Interestingly, the grey captured T-34 has sold out at K&CUK but, the 150 soviet releases are all still available.

Wonder if this will be replicated when the winter T-34 is released?
Mitch
