    Texas Show - May 2008

Thanks for the photos. Yeah, I regret not getting them alright. Maybe at the next show. I tried looking for the MARXMAN web site but could not find one. That's okay. I have enough to keep me busy for the next few months. :D

    Texas Show - May 2008

I liked the T-shirt too. They had them back at the King X shop. The price was too steep for me at $21.00 per t-shirt. I would have bought a couple if they were $15.00 or so. But I did like them.

    Texas Show - May 2008

Hi, Just wanted to mention that The MARX MAN also had some 40mm lead Alamo soldiers call the "FORTIES". He had some other lines too but I only looked at the Alamo set. I was impressed. Now, I am regretting not getting any of them. Did anyone else get some? They looked great.

WESTON South of the Border Figures

Alex, That's okay. I just hope that the show continues. It is my chance to save up and go see the latest stuff out on the market. I think it should be moved to a larger location. What do you think?

    Cinco De Mayo!

Scott, I found the post. Thanks. Now, I am going to try to do some converts. What did you use to glue the parts together. I have Zap A Gap. What do you recommend? I am going to start with the peasant with the rasided machete. I think he will be the easiest to convert.

    Alamo Facade

Yes, I am wondering if the gloss finished K&C ures had a different facade than the one that is offered with the Matt finished one. I have two recent Alamo facades and am trying to find out if there was an earlier one produced by K&C with the gloss figures in 1995. Thanks.

    Cinco De Mayo!

Scott, I like your conversions of the Weston peasants. Could you show us some close ups of them. Or perhaps provide a "How to" on how you made them. I just bought my first set of them and want to try to make some too. THanks.

    Texas Show - May 2008

Hi, I just returned from the show. My second time, as I went last year. It is small. But, I do like the variety. I think this year the show has more variety. I hope next year they find a bigger place. It was very crowded the 2.5 hours that I was there. One older gentleman bumped into me...

For those who wargame or set-up dioramas...

I too, just try to put together figures without much accuarcy. Good points made. I will attempt to do more research on my next diorama. But, then again, I am the only one who sees my dios before a taken them down for a new one.
