I am still waiting for COnte to finish the Alamo that Richard promised us. I still have the letter he sent with all of my Alamo playsets. Standby for more alamo. Standby for calvary, artillary, etc.... How long do we stand-by? I want it now!!!!! The stuff is great but too slow to come out.

Good Question Apachejol. I would estimate that 18-24 months is ample time for most collectors to get their selected soldiers. If I want something really bad (like new Alamo figures), I nag my wife until she gives in. It usally takes me kno more than 6 months to get something that "just came...

I thought the same thing when I saw the pictures. I was also amazed at the intricate details of her dress. The work put into that figure is pretty hard for most of us. Wow.

I agree with CapitolIron. I too would like to see some Aztecs/Incas/Mayans and some Conquistadors. It would be interesting to see them in their full color.

I, like most of you have many favorite sets. Each for a different reason or memory that it brings me, but I have two that I enjoy most. The Marine Corps Drum and Bugle Corps set and the Alamo Jim Bowie 2-part set. I have both of those displayed in the top shelfs of my 2 curios. Great question...

I started collecting again when I was cleaning out my mother's garage and came across my old GI Joe and Best of the West (Jonny West) figures in 1991. I kept those and then started to remember my old MARX cowboys and indians. I kept serching my mother's garage but never found them. THen in 1993...

I stopped by Loew's today and picked up 2 of the Dot-it lights. I just wanted to see how they worked on my curio. THey worked great. My wife even liked them. Good quick and easy fix to light up your curio diorama. I will go back and buy 6 more to add to my other sports. Thanks for the great...

I would like to offer that we need more modern Navy soldiers. Like a Color Guard, Naval Academy cadets, Sialors at sea, navy seals, navy corpsman attending to marines, etc.... There is just not enough of our American Sailors in minature. Thanks.:)
