Louis, my local church .. (Which has suspended services for the duration) does have a message board outside the church.

We have been invited to post the names of those people who would like a "Special Prayer" and their name read in the prayer for health and/or speedy recovery.
This is not just for COVID-19, but any illness that folks in our community may have.

With your permission, I would like to post your cousins name (first name only is okay) on the board for recovery and your son's name for continued health!

Our thoughts are with you and family.

Larry, her name is Charise Badolato, and I am sure she would appreciate all the prayers she can get. I know I can!

Prayers for you that your cousin doesn't develop severe symptoms, that the virus stays isolated to her sector and doesn't spread to your son or others, and that the 14 day period doesn't go by excruciatingly slow.

Louis- thoughts and prayers to you and your family. I can imagine it’s a very tough balance between caring for her while worrying about the rest of the family.
Keep your head high and lean on people for support - none of us are alone in this!

Listen to some Winston Churchill and every time he says German or Nazi, substitute coronavirus!

Good to know you take your inspiration from Winston:salute::. It cant be said enough that he was hard done by when Time magazine came up with their person of the 20th Century. They picked some super nerd called Einstein who never even got man of the year.

We are all very fortunate that at the time of greatest need, the free world was being led by two of the greatest men in modern history, Sir Winston and FDR. They, in combination with one of the worlds all time worst human beings, Stalin, were able to lead us to overcome arguable the worst human being of all time.
 
The numbers are sobering but it is a good sign that the projected number of deaths is trending downward. No solace to those families who have lost someone but some cause to hope this is slowing down. I still have trouble believing as many as 80K people in the US are going to die from this. The current number is about 12K. Even so it is better than the 100-200K they were predicting just a few days ago. Schools are likely done for this year but most things may start slowly getting back to normal by mid-May.

I know exactly where you are... my father in law just returned to a somewhat "normal" life after battling for 19 days the virus. He still feels deeply tired... He's 75, and miraculelesly did not need hospital admission. We were all forced into quarentine (much more than socil distancing) for 14 days once he tested positive. We feel very lucky for his outcome. I pray your cousin faces a smooth path untill recovery. All the best my friend, to you and all your family!

Thank you very much, and know that my family and I are including you, your families, and the families of everyone else on this forum in our thoughts and prayers. I am sure we will all get through this separately but together.
