The true medical equipment that doctors use are good but these things they are selling are worthless.I bought 10 and the straps broke on 3 of them the first day. I've also heard true or not that the masks are only good for 15-20 minutes before bacteria and I guess other things contaminate it.Again true or not the CDC recommends people not wear their masks unless you are enclosed and within 3 not 6 feet. And another thing is people throw them and their gloves all over the place. One group I know likes them, criminals.

Mark, as you point out Fauci moves the goal post every time the wind blows! To be blunt the guy’s as slippery as an eel and clearly working his own angles. His got financial interests in vaccine research and their roll out and been playing the field since the 80s. Can’t believe more of your countrymen aren’t questioning his stance.

I know you’re leader has serious misgivings about him and with good reason.

For the record face masks won’t prevent you from getting a virus either.

Yeah Fauci is buddy buddy with that Ethiopian communist running WHO.

Photo shopped?

Really?

So Miss Tiffany has not been my girlfriend since 2004?

I'd better let her know then.

Wow, that's quite a crackerjack team of savvy tech teenagers living under your roof.

Have a gander at these two pictures; the night we met, New Years Eve 2004 and a week later on our first date...…………...back when I was on the sauce...…...I'm 6'2", she's 5'4", 5'1" of it is leg.

As you can clearly see, I'm not much on pictures, but why should I be when I have the real thing.

It is funny though; every picture I have off her and I, I do have a **** eating grin on my face.

Funny that.

Check back later in this thread with their findings, this ought to be good...……….……..OR, you can ask Louis, he met her at the World Figure Expo back in Boston in 2005.

Miss Tiffany is real . . . and George is a very lucky guy!:salute::

Okay Gents,

The US mentality? Its a sign of weakness, who-haw, determines your political party, a pain in the butt, a inconvenience, stupid, dumb and really won't help cause so and so said so. Man, puh-lease. Its a preventative for heavens sake, a deterrent, an act of conscience to stop the spread and trying to be apart of the solution and not the problem. I tell you what, the times and our attitudes are changing and don't tell me for one minute this winter when you are at Walgreens and some joker is in the check out line in front of you coughing..no hacking, sniffling and sneezing with NO mask, wiping his nose and then punches in his debit card numbers that you aren't going to say to yourself "Freaking gross man...wear a mask *******...don't you have any graces...stop the spread bro". Then your next to pay.

So, I don't want to hear all that. Change your thinking or more so your attitude towards masks and gloves and I promise you we will all stay healthier in the future AND castigate those who unabashedly spread their grossness. There is nothing wrong with being hygienic in public and further demanding those around you to do the same. So, wear a mask and shut yo moughf.

John from Texas

What a couple of quotes you got here!! I agree wholeheartedly with your hygienic discussion, here here! I do hate it when you see stuff like this in public, I shook my head before COVID and now I just go the other way when I see stuff like this. It is gross.

What a way to wake up this morning, this was the first post I read :)

Okay, George you win. I believe you know and for the record your girlfriend is beautiful...no scratch that..hot...I'm talking smoking hot...searing...you get the picture. Your a lucky man. I emphasize the luck part. If and when I get to meet you and her, I PROMISE not to share your San Antonio Shenanigans that you bragged about her on the forum. Yes, BRAGGED about you handsome Italian Stallion you.

She's a tremendous person, very smart, witty, great sense of humor, a gentle soul, she's a keeper.

I knew her for about 10 years before we were able to make a connection, whenever we'd run into each other, either she'd be dating someone or I would, timing was never right until New Years Eve 2004, her and that blue dress...…………

Holy smokes.

Her and I have three critical things we are on the same page on;

Trust
Respect
Support

She travels a lot with her company, I travel a lot with my business, we trust each other.

Enough said.

We respect each other, something I would NEVER do is disrespect her and at the same time, DO NOT disrespect me.

Ever.

Support; she's encouraged me throughout this journey of being a toy soldier dealer from the very beginning, she's had my back, encouraged me, I work a **** ton of hours, do/did a **** ton of shows, she's never ever once moaned and complained about me working too much.

If you can find a woman with whom you have mutual trust, respect and support, she's the one for you; without any of those three, it's not going to work and it never worked for 44 years.

Until I met her.

And you can tell her all you want about my shenanigans in San Antonio 28 years ago; it goes back to the mutual trust thing.

Never once in my 59 years have I ever cheated on a girlfriend; if I want to play the field/explore other options, I'll break up with her first.

So there you go.

Oh; and luck has nothing to do with it.

See George even LB said "luck"...so I wasn't the only one. Ha ha!

No George hell-a-woman there! Gorgeous too! Its tough finding one of "the great ones" but when you do...fugggetaboudit!

George that song by Elvin Bishop "Fooled around and fell in Love" was probably written for me. I was the sheater-lothario extra-rodninaire!!! I was a two/three timing fool. Then one day I meet this lady who was in the military and a civilian in Japan. I was 24 and she was 35 and a too me...a older woman. Her name was Olivia and just oozed WOMAN. Anyway, when we met and had dinner at a Japanese joint she told me that she liked me and wouldn't mind rolling with me and that I could have all the benefits of a girlfriend: home cooked meals, time, love and companionship. All of that, but there was nly one condition and that was not to lie to her. SOLD!

For a good 4 months she was my gal and had some really great times together. She cooked for me, took care of me, loved on me and I returned the favor with love, flowers and nights out on the town that I knew like the back of my hand. Then while I was working this little Filipina hottie walked in and asked me out! I was like what? She was a dependent of a military member, but was like 20 or something. I was so hot and bothered that I said hell yeah and I took her out in on the town. Funny thing is I don't remember her name, but she was smoking hot a la Lucy Liu. Anyway, a week went by and Olivia was not returning my phone calls, but then she called me and invited me to dinner.

We went to dinner and had great time and after dinner she asked me what I did last weekend and I lied as to my where abouts. Well, she already found out I was with Lucy Liu and told me right then and there that I broke her rule and it was over.

I was shocked, dumbfounded but most importantly I was ashamed and sad. She never spoke to me again and THATS when I missed her the most.

She eventually left Japan and left me with the recipe for humble pie.

Yeah, the lying thing is a killer...……………...I've met people who are professional liars and they are good at their craft; me, I always sucked at it, I learned at a young age it's better to tell the truth and deal with the blowback...…………….the problem with lying is it never happened, so you misremember and trip over yourself.

Well I see the virus is blowing up huge now in Arizona and Texas among other places, it's calmed down quite a bit here on the East Coast, now it's blowing up elsewhere.

Arizona and Texas; so much for this thing burning out in warmer weather, it doesn't get much warmer than those two places.

The stock market tanked today, dow dropped 1800 points.

Unbelievable; SIX months we've been dealing with this ****ing thing and no sign of it letting up.

When is it going to end?

WHEN?!?!?!?!

There's certainly a lot of back scratching going on with that arrangement. The pair of them are laughing all the way to the bank......

George, the Governor was quoted as saying that is in ONLY in prisons, old folks homes and meat packing facilities AS IF thats okay. BS man! It is just a mess and AZ Health Dept advised the hospitals to basically get ready. Austin is extending the stay at home order and here in SA we've been out of it since May. AND the Governor is pushing for 75% capacity in restaurants. I think that starts next week.

Actually, Im getting used to it...the drive thru thing, ordering out and we have only been out twice. Once at the Mexican Joint (which was empty) and the other for the grad dinner (sitting way far from other patrons). I still wear mask and gloves at Home Depot and anywhere else. Got a pedicure yesterday (it was heavenly) and masks are required on both ends-customers and the Vietnamese ladies. They got one dude who cleans non-stop. Both my kids have got take out late and were sick the next day. When questioning them they both realized it was right at closing and the drive thru window smelled like bleach fumes were coming out. Over cleaning that seeps into the food areas?

Anyway, we are going to get hammered and I know it. I mean hammered and its easy to get lax because of summer and the sunshine, but man its still there in the midst and a killer to boot.

Oh by the way, Honduras and Guatamala are having a fit because we are sending back illegals in record numbers. Both governments want us to stop sending back their people. Strange thought isn't? But its truly because they (their illegal countryman in the US) potentially carry the virus and guess what? They probably do.

On somewhat of a same note El Trumpo has signed off on an executive order basically making it impossible to claim asylum in the United States and you know what? I agree and the reason why is because the asylum claims get abused. I met a Venezuelan lady here in SA whose family claimed Asylum and fortunately for her, her husband was a defense lawyer in VZ, so he was able to navigate and prove with out a shadow of a doubt that his life and that of his family was on the murder list from the government. It was a fascinating, yet scary story of "lets get the hell outta here". Sadly, her nursing credentials and his law credentials don't hold weight in the US and she does nails and he is now works in construction. But, she and her husband lost everything in VZ as the government confiscated all of their property. Plus, it was not worth anything because their money basically has no value. On the other hand, there are those who claim asylum...just cause.

Anyway, George no end in sight.

Good luck with it and keep doing what you are doing and stay safe.

Everything I'm reading is states are going to keep pushing forward, no going back, going back will destroy an economy that is already shredded, but at what cost in lives? Some report I saw said we can expect 200K deaths by September...………….holy smokes.

This is just devastating, our country is getting destroyed by a microscopic virus.

What a sin.

Just seen the horrible aftermath of when BLM protesters in Portsmouth, Virginia topple a confederate statue and drop it on the head of one of then own nearly killing him.

Ironically the crowd then call for medics and without hesitation police and paramedics arrive to provide immediate first-aid to the injured.

Interesting how when it all hits the fan, they call for first responders to help......

Wow, mind boggling. From The Daily Mail. However for NYPD if you cut 1/6 of its budget I think that equates to reducing numbers from 36,000 to 30,000. Note school safety and homeless first things likely to be cut plus obviously less patrols and lower response times.

The old school methods of Giuliani and his Commissioners in NY worked. Bloomberg actually carried them on but apologised for them when running for President.

DM

“The Minneapolis City Council on Friday unanimously passed a resolution to replace the city’s police department with a community-led public safety system.

The move comes days after a veto-proof majority of the council voted to disband the police department after the country erupted in protest over the killing of George Floyd, a black man who died when a white police officer knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes.

The Minneapolis vote was cast as New York City Council pushed to cut $1billion from the NYPD’s budget.

The gigantic cut to the Big Apple police department’s $6billion annual budget could see a reduction in the size of the force from 36,000 to 33,000, while removing functions like school safety and homeless outreach from the police”.

I have a question for our USA members.

Is the act of kneeing by BLM protesters somehow connected to the cop kneeling on Floyds neck or does it represent something else??

Had a very interesting discussion with some colleagues online about this and there was no clear consensus.

Most seem to think the act had some other meaning but couldn't really elaborate.

It goes back to an NFL quarterback kneeling during the national anthem. He was making the gesture to protest the shooting death of an 18yo Afrian-American, Michael Brown. A limited number of other players mimicked the guy, but it hurt the league because a percentage of fans boycotted the league and TV-ratings declined. The player eventually lost his position and was unable to land a job with another team. The good news for the guy was that he had become a cultural icon to American leftists (aka Progessives) and Nike Shoes. Been so ever since.

Well, you know what they say about Karma. Whether the monuments should be moved or not is another debate. The lawlessness and attack on all monuments is a crime and should be prosecuted. We look like a 3rd world country right now with "anarchy in the streets". I am not ok with that in the least, this is idiocy at the highest degree.
