No disrespect intended, but after the Cambridge Analytica data scandal back in 2018 in-which Facebook was totally complicit I'm surprised anyone still uses the social media site.

Zuckerberg and his masters have much to answer for.

Not unexpected or a big deal really Toddy, I'm sure 'they' get more information about me from my Mastercard usage and Google maps.

True story, several years back when I was working on a Grading crew with our local council the water truck driver was upset because the council installed a GPS tracking system in the truck. He told me they had no right to know where he was driving. I said Steve mate, yep they kinda do as it is their truck after all. Anyway, he ended up resigning over this matter, after over 20 years with the council.

Absolutely, I can see the obvious attraction and the ease and fun being able to connect with friends and family. However as often is the case 'Facebooks' popularity is its downfall. Zacherberg is just a front man now-a-days and a puppet on a string making truck-loads of cash.

Poor media guys can't win, they're either trying to scare us about something or playing things down. You just have to be security aware when using smart phones, computers, apps etc.

I consider myself to be relatively intelligent while having more common sense than actual book smarts.

With that being said I can’t help but feel that I understand COVID more than Facebook.

According to most reports it makes most of its money via ad revenue, yet I can’t find a single person who has ever bought something because they saw it advertised on Facebook.

All right, going to check him out! I love crime dramas, they are easy reads and a guilty pleasure. I read mostly about true crime as it is like a car accident, you just can't help but look.

Mark, as you correctly point out Dr Fauci is a master at playing both ends of the field and a man wearing two masks. If you look at his rise through the ranks as far back as the 80's you'd have to question his loyalties.

What is interesting is a lot of these so called experts haven't actually practised medicine in years and have managed to work themselves into some very influential positions. I'm with you when it comes to listening to those on the front line.....

He had terror on his face because he couldn’t tell who I was in the low light.

My friend is having to miss his family this year on Christmas because of the new strains. This was going to be his first vacation this year and now he’s working. He is exhausted by incompetence in our national leadership and ignorant people not knowing how hard this situation is for people like him and Dr Fauci.

My Godson who is an infectious disease doctor and researcher at Yale has the highest regard for Dr. Fauci, a man who has dedicated his life work to medicine and public health.

Way back when the lockdowns began I rushed to the store in fear that all of the toilet paper, disinfectants and paper towels would be gone.

Sure enough there was still plenty of all of that but the beer isle was picked clean.

Texans apparently have different priorities than the rest of the world.
