Figarti vehicles with First legion vehicles (2 Viewers)

I very much agree here, we should be able to say what we like and dislike without it quickly going into the gutter and insults being hurled back and forth. It would be good to have honest open debates but I feel certainly in FL and K&C camps views are pretty well entrenched sometimes and a negative remark is taken as an insult. When it comes to LAH, people should be able to celebrate their collection and others to say they cannot stand them, thats what freedom is all about. I must say overall of late the K&C forum has been really enjoyable with much much fewer arguments and personal insults hurled, makes the whole forum much more fun.

Mitch, am trying not to get an image of you playing with your soldiers whilst listening to that Tank crew music from the Battle of the Bulge^&grin^&grin. I'm off to put my goggles and Battle of Britain sound track on whilst I dust my Hurricane:wink2:^&grin

Mitch and Rob great observations.I collect K&C and some First Legion think both are really nice.I was shocked at how quickly an observation that is not flattering brings the heat from some members. It is an opinion not a personal attack or insult .I thought that was what a forum is all about --DIFFERENT OPINIONS.Thanks Mike B.

Rob...

I have been found out.....

I wear my SS scharfuhrer uniform on a monday whilst dusting and listening to the horst wessel lied and, I have named all my LAH!!!!!

Friday's are BOB days and I wear my grandad's medals, flying cap and boots whilst singing rule britannia and having the dambuster theme screaming out the speakers.

Life is never dull!!! This reminds me of that great dads army episode where Pike asks for sixteen pints of ze ginger beer

Love that episode! Mainwarings face is a picture when he walks in and catches Wilson doing the goose step, all three of them are just great in that scene. I love it when Pike says 'So,we are the masters now er Mainwaring' and Mainwaring pulls the chair from under him^&grin

Very much agree. One of the great things about this hobby is getting so many different perspectives, even if I dont agree with them all its fascinating to read them and a real shame if this gets spoiled by abuse and insults.

I don't see how. The 1:32 Figarti Tiger is the same size as the older K&C product like the Winter Tiger and Wittmann's last Tiger. They all measure out at 1:32 and are very noticeably smaller than the recent K&C Tigers which measure out at 1:30. If you want to put figarti with FL how about using the 1:30 Figarti winter Panzer IV with the 1:30 FL Stug and Panzer III (J)? They would go together well IMO.

That is quite a disortation ^&grin, I have all of those pieces and I will look into it.......But here is something no one wants to acknowledge..... Remember I am talikng about size not scale....FL figures are the smallest I have, besides my Frontline Figures which are 1/32, they are smaller than Britains 1 /32, they are smaller than Figarti 1/32. They work with the original Figarti Tiger (Whatever Scale it is), believe me. And I love it. FL is cool stuff, they don't have a huge inventory as of yet. so anything I can use with them makes me happy.:D

I love my Figarti stuff so I am glad there is at least one matchup, maybe more, I am not done yet.

If any Figarti owners took a read at this thread they must have said aloud.."what the hell are these guys smok'n":smile2:...yea I'm with Wayne here, just want to get a side by side comparison, Firebat if you have a few FL and Figarti tanks please post some pics, don't really care about a dio setting, just want to see if they work in a regular side by side with some FL figures...Sammy

Keep in mind I am comparing only the AFVs - not the figures. That is a whole other matter.

Are you calling Rob a ginger beer now Mitch !? What ever next:mad:^&cool

I have had all the Nazi stuff thrown at me by a small number of the forum. from being a neo nazi to sitting listening to german parade music whilst reviewing the LAH collection!!!!!! I think in relation to LAH we are in a better place as more collectors are showing their collections and, its harder for some who dislike to make a point when there is a lot showing the stuff especially some of the german chaps on the forum now. I do think a forum that is about toy soldiers should be able to tolerate from mods owners and posters the fact that some are not going to like certain manufacturers releases.

I have no problem with the debate about products, all for it really. its the rather strange defences that are used when you critique products. It gets too personal and emotional and that applies equally to K&C and FL collectors. Its like your attacking their family not bits of metal. As I said, all for people being positive and enthusiastic about their collectables but, keep the kiddy stuff like mine is better or, some of the stuff I have seen where threats of violence are made at the door. back up the reasoning with facts thats what we all want to see. no manufacturer makes perfect stuff and there are issues with all (and even, in a eutopian world where every set was perfect some will prefer some over others) once everyone realises that we can have proper positive and negative debates

Mitch
I think your right in what your saying and that why I don't care to post much now on the forum, it like people have not grown up:wink2:

Hi guys,

Just curious to know if anyone has put side by side the 1:30 vehicles of both WWII First Legion and Figarti??? hoping that there isn't to much of a difference?? thanks for any help...Sammy

Calling the clean up crew...let's clean up this thread & delete some obvious posts?

Apologies for any of my posts that drifted the thread, this forum has been a lot more fun of late and got carried away with joking with Wayne ,Neil etc. Again my apologies.
