Glorious photo Moe! I love the paint on that plane. It's a real beauty and your photo is like box art-terrific work. It makes me want to buy one although I don't collect planes. I suppose if I just had one plane maybe this would be the one to get.

Cheers,
Joe

Moe...that is an awesome picture...your photography skills are excellent!

Thanks, gentlemen. JJ and I were exchanging email salutations, and he indicated that he'd like a pic of the model which displayed the upper surfaces. The image above was what I came up with in response.:)

Especially like the sky background, just sets off the plane so well. Amazing shot, looks real. Just what John ordered no doubt. Robin.

Moe,
You really nailed his request. It's an amazing shot.
Thanks for sharing it.

That is really life-like Moe! Like Mike Miller said, your photography skills are amazing.

Moe, really like the sepia tone to the pics. There is a very 'spring' feel to the photos, especially the one with the woodworkers and mechanic that has the cherry trees in the background. I can just see the date on the photos...May, 1918, the Jasta prepares for the day ahead... -- Al

Beautiful planes and excellent photography Moe.
What lighting setup do you use for these shots ?

Thanks Al, I’ve got some presets on my camera for the different effects.

Nice looking photos Moe

Thank you Duke!

CNQ, the lighting is just a 100w, LED daylight flood-bulb on a directional stand. I try to get the maximum illumination near the center of focus. I ought to add that I probably take 5-10 pics for every one that shows up here on the forum.
