I know that Nick Saban has a temper but his display yesterday went, in my opinion, way above what should be permitted, especially in this day and age; you should not be able to treat people that way, especially in public. In my time I worked for a couple of people like him and their yelling was counterproductive. On the other hand, near the end of my career, I worked for a person who was completely the opposite. Yes, he'd let us know if we made a mistake but he'd calmly suggest how we could have done it differently. No yelling or tantrums. The result: we all wanted to go through a wall for Bryan. I once yelled at a subordinate for a screwup and she hung up on me. I never did it again.
I thought he was going to stroke out at one point and I agree with you 100%, that display was embarrassing, berating that poor kid #74 and smashing his headset, not a good look at all.
I hoped Alabama won so I could see him lose his **** again on January 7th a few times.
And trust me as I was around it all my life with my Dad and a volcanic temper is not a good thing.
Ever.
