The main stream media in the UK currently (and conveniently) labelling all the anti migrant protesters in Britain as being far-right extremists thugs, when the vast majority have been peaceful working-class Brits simply saying we've had enough.....

Yes and who can blame them apart from of course the MSM and far left.
The last straw seeming to be the stabbing to death of three girls aged 6, 7 & 9 and slso stabbings and slashing of the other little girls at a Summer dance workshop, which had followed an assault on a Policeman and women at Manchester Airport by two brothers, which followed a riot started by Roma, for social services taking into care some children for their own protection which followed a stabbing near his barracks of a Soldier.
All this happening within a few days and the msm and the guilty in each event trying to hide facts or push a false narrative.
All this occurring as the temperature heated up, which as the law enforcement agencies all know is when trouble is likely to brew over onto the streets. Only surprise is its taken this long.
And the new government response is to brand all the protesters, who weren't entirely made up of white people and included mothers and grandparents as far right thugs and to suggest that bringing in facial recognition as a deterrent, but only for them. Yet the demographic who are the main cause are to be legally protected.
When one visits London and other major cities throughout the world or travels by air, there is so much more security now than there ever was in the past.
All being the result of deaths caused by terrorist attacks, yet when you see from who these attacks emanate from it does make you wonder as who is protecting those who are doing the attacking. The ideology of the attenders remain firmly back in the middle ages.
We are on the brink of living in George Orwell's 1984.

The main concern as I recall of the Manchester police chief after the attack was possible backlash against Muslims.

And yet it was the Muslim community who barricaded the Police station, stopping the police exiting, threatening that they would take the law into their own hands, in other words behaving like a lynch mob !

Two tier policing now exists in this country, since no action was taken against these, or those rioting in Leeds, other than to arrest a middle aged woman, who was complaining to the Police for not tackling this and for running away from the rioters.
The days of policing without fear or favour has passed and is now political.
I don't suppose it will be long before All the police are regularly armed and civil liberties that had been the norm in this country are severely restricted, thanks to uncontrolled immigration and the raising power of that demographic.

Same deal in the US. The media labels the burning of cities as "mostly peaceful" when their politics align with the protestors but anyone else is an extremist. There was a shooting in Nashville at a Christian school a couple years ago. The police and law enforcement authorities were instructed to cover up the motive of the shooter because they didn't want her politics to be criticized. To this day they refuse to release her written explanation for the massacre of children despite the requests of the parents to release it.

Unless the western governments get some guts and quit feeling guilty about every little thing, things are going to get worse. They feel bad how they treated third world countries but shouldn't as they are treated far worse by their own leaders.

Because of that I'm grateful we have the right to bear arms in this country. And yes, I own firearms.

Males allowed to compete in female sports under the delusion of inclusion.......
You beat me to it. I agree, those individuals are deluded. They suffer a mental disorder. They deserve compassion, as any sick person does. But not indulgence in their illness, and certainly not reordering society to indulge their delusion.

I don't blame the governments. I blame the citizens who elect them. I'm old enough to remember Jimmy Carter. A decent man with good intentions but a terrible president. He lost in a landslide because most at that time still valued results over ideology. Now the situation is reversed. Non-stop mass media and social media noise has radicalized people. They vote strictly on ideology. No real-world consequences can dissuade them.

I blame both, governments and citizens. The government here are suppose to represent the citizens and tend to their wants and needs but 70% of the people can be against something but the government does what it wants. You can't really say vote them out because the next bunch that comes in does what it wants also.

100% agree with your George Orwell reference and the two tiered policing comment. I've been following the growing tension in the UK over mass immigration for years and not surprised about the surge in protests and now violence sweeping Britain.

As expected MSM coverage has been incredibly misleading and very one sided. Seeing peaceful protesters being corralled and arrested last week in London was a shocker. I'm not surprised things have turned violent.

No one with XY chromosomes should be competing against females. Its unjust and plain wrong on so many levels. Anyone defending that decision has rocks in their heads.

After saying they are fleeing oppression, violence, persecution, you would think OK, come here where you will be safe.
But certain demographics instead of settling down to lead peaceful productive lives, what do these people bring with them, oppression, violence, persecution And want to turn our countries into mirror images of their own lands with all the problems they say they are fleeing and their very numbers have made this about replacement rather than integration.

Steve, we both know the oppression/persecution angle is a complete facade and migration has been allowed to happen for years unchecked. The obvious question is why? Muslim assimilation into western culture is a myth. That's not me being anti-Muslim, that's simply a fact. I've watched and listened to numerous hard working Brits expressing concern and with good reason, yet the politicians ignore them and quickly label any opposition as right wing extremists.

I can only see this getting worse......

Yep, me too.
And yet they are the protected ones despite what the casualty list of terrorist victims tells you.
Government never installed so much security for the threat of the IRA.
Funny, you never hear about Jewish, Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist or Christian suicide bombers. Always is only Muslim.
Same as the pedophile grooming rape gangs always are from the same community.
But still some stick their heads in the sand and while things may quieten down for a while, the problem isn't going away.

I can understand people that come from different backgrounds having different political viewpoints. What burns me, though, is when governments are dishonest or even cover up information because the facts are contrary to their desired narrative. That is shameful. Information should never be hidden from the public. It's important to understand why some folks are going on a rampage killing people. The families of the victims deserve that information. And in the absence of transparency, there is often false information and conspiracy theories. The recent assassination attempt is a classic example. The secret service either through sheer incompetence and/or an intentional CYA have been dragging their feet to reveal information that they must have known or should have known on day one. It is inexcusable not to give the public answers and intentionally withhold information because it harms a political viewpoint.

What a day for the news. Stock market collapsing, endless wars expanding, men boxing women at the Olympics.

The Dow dropped 1,000 points.

I knew things were going to crater sooner than later, "luckily" it happened before early voting starts.

Running things back for 4 more years reverts back to Einstein's definition of insanity "Keep doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result."
