Re: Walking Dead
I've said it before and I'll say it again; prior to this series, anything zombie was a two hour at the most peek into what life would be like in a zombie plague. The Romero movies went a bit deeper, but this has been a very long glimpse into trying to live a normal life despite what was going on around you.
This latest scenario in Alexandria; these people live in a fantasy world. They have no idea what life outside their walls is actually like. Putting Rick and his crew in there was a disaster waiting to happen. He's wandering up and down the streets looking for something to stick his nose into; well he sure found it.
Not sure what is going to happen next week, but I. don't think he's suited for life in Alexandria.
The whole thing is so abnormal; no TV, no phones, no internet, no job, no interaction with anyone outside those walls. They are on an island just waiting to be over run or taken out by a band of outsiders.
Life in a zombie world is no day at the beach.
This latest dust up just goes to show groups do not mix well, they need to stick to their own kind. Rick's people need to find their own place, they are incapable of blending in with another group, too much testosterone.
Actually I'm with Rick he's right, the fantasy-land that the good folks of Alexandria live is are miles away from reality and what is really happening outside the walls......and those walls won't stop everyone.
