"The Last Viking King," The true story of King Harald Hardrada by Don Hollway
A friend got it for X-Mas and will give it to me when he's done. He says it's very good, and he's a Viking/WW2 fan. More of a reader than an History buff."The Last Viking King," The true story of King Harald Hardrada by Don Hollway
Impressive. I was forced to read half of it over Christmas break in High School (the other half was in class). Some interesting ideas but not exactly light reading...I'm in a bit of a reading rut right now. I need to look at my reading wish list and pick something. On an area other than the hobby, I want to read St. Thomas Aquinas' "Summa Theologica". This might be a good time to take that out of the library.
Prost!

He's also the editor of several collections on the First World War published by Helion that are well worth a read. From Boer War to World War.

I've been eagerly awaiting this and glad it is finally hitting the publishing house. The second book in the Rick Atkinson Revolutionary War series is due to be released next week. At long last. He will also be on an extensive book tour if anyone is interested.
