NCAA Football 2019 (1 Viewer)

Jalen Hurts went 38-4 in his college career as a starter while also playing in 4 straight college football playoffs.

In my mind he is one of the best players of this generation.

Navy went 3-10 in 2018. 2019's 11-2 record is the biggest turn around in college ball this year and second largest turn around in NCAA history. Navy Qb, Malcolm Perry set the NCAA single season Qb rushing record this year, as well, with 2017 rushing yards. Great year for the Middies.:salute:: -- Al

UK had a thrilling come from behind win in the Belk Bowl. 8-5 on the yr. NOt bad considering they had to convert a WR to QB for the last 7 games. He did so well he remained at QB even when the original starter returned from injury. Bowden had 233 yrs rushing. Every team knows he will will rush 30+ times per game but only Georgia was able to stop him. Quite a yr.

Brother-in-law is a big VA Tech fan. {sm4} Chris

Found the game very entertaining and loved the ending. Congrats. -- Al

Tonight's game should be pretty decent, I think LSU will win it.

I thought Bama would win last year. It's a crap shoot with the layoff and distractions with a bunch of college players. Even pro teams like the Ravens looked rusty after a layoff. Clemson is battle tested. If anyone can beat LSU, it's Clemson but I'm taking LSU. Close until half then they pull away and win by a couple TDs.

LSU 38 Clemson 24.

The officiating has been horrendous tonight...........wait, what; this is a PAC 12 crew?

Well that explains it.

Well, there you have it, in the end, the best team won, kind of a technical knockout in the second half!

As I have said, can't stand Dabo most of the time and the dancing in the first half on the sidelines is part of it. Although, I have to give him credit his post game press conference was all class and he is probably coming back again next year, I think he has like 80 out of 120 players are freshman and sophomores, that is scary.

Hats off to LSU, well deserved end to the season.

A bit of overkill by the ESPN coverage last night. I think they had four or more different ways to watch the game. Most interesting was the 4K skycam with no commentators. Gave an interesting perspective on the game. I couldn't tell much difference in the picture quality over normal HDTV though. And this was Internet based on Comcast - so it kept freezing which made it unwatchable after a while. The absolute worst option was watching those guys roaming on the sidelines trying to think of something to say. Bumping into people behind the end zone as they tried to catch up to the teams after a big play was hilarious.

To be honest, it was just nice to see someone besides Alabama or Clemson win the Championship.

ACC announced they will play 10 conference games and one in state non-conference game to allow for traditional rivalries. SEC promptly announced it will play only 10 conference games. So no UofL - UK game this yr. :rolleyes2:

Whether any games will/should be played is another question. But if you're going to play a season don't think a school should run away from a rival. Chris

No sport is enhanced more by live in-person activities than college football.

From the crowds made up of students to the mascots and every tradition in between, college foitball won’t be worth playing in empty stadiums.

It is looking more and more likely that this season will be postponed, if not cancelled altogether.

I watched the BYU vs. Navy game yesterday.

I am not picking on Navy but the whole team seemed disinterested.

I saw it in other games over the weekend. I get it, if half of any league decided not to play my bet is that most of those who remained playing would not care much either.
