Hi All,
unable to get to the show today and having been out this pm surprised to see that no photos have as yet been uploaded to this thread. Sure that someone must have taken some photos and look forward to them being uploaded in due course.
all best wishes to all treefroggers for Christmas and...
Hi,
i am looking for contact details for Rank & File Toy Soldiers for a project that I am working on. A few years ago now they produced a series of female mounted and foot figures of female fighters from the Boer War. I need to find out whether they are still in business and producing figures...
Hi JB,
I am not sure if Errol John Studios are still supplying castings. When they started to produce figures again after a period away from the hobby I am pretty sure that Errol mentioned that he would only be making and selling gloss painted finished figures from now on.

Hi All,
The address in Rochester, Kent is an old address. The one at the end of the article in TSC is the correct one for Errol John Studios. They don't have a website, but a price list can be sent on receipt of an A4 SAE or alternatively an illustrated catalogue priced at £10.00 is available by...
Hi Ana,
Congratulations these are truly excellent and beautiful mounted figures. I am sure that they will be a successful addition to the Beau Geste Durbar series.
Kind Regards
Martin
I think Four Feathers based in Argentina might have made such a set a few years ago now, but they are no longer in production.
Hope you are able to find what you are looking for.

Hi Ana,
Just wondering what progress you have made in producing the 27 individuals that made up the Imperial Cadet Corps. Would love to see some progress photos as they start to take shape.
Kind Regards & Best Wishes
Martin
Many thanks for the extensive coverage of the show Gazza. I don't suppose you have a contact or name for the exhibitor selling the Wild West inspired buildings and horse drawn vehicles by any chance. A collective friend who attended mentioned that this vendor had some steers that might be...
Hi Jeff,
Any photos of ATS, Asset & Little Legion would be very much appreciated together with some close up shots of Tommy Atkins Victorian Rural Civilian range if possible please, especially if they have any of their show specials on display.
Many thanks in advance
Martin (aka acw cavalry)
The officer's mess diorama reminded me of a similar piece made by John Firth (beating retreat) a few years ago now and the figures in the most recent diorama look very similar as well. I think they were Rose Miniatures supplied by John Eden studios, but I might be wrong about that.
Hi Jeff,
Many thanks for your efforts yesterday and giving those who couldn't make it a flavour of what was on offer. I think some of the traders share your views of the new venue. Some have probably decided to vote with their feet. That said I seem to remember that Anne Randall,(Asset...
Hi Jeff,
Unsure at the moment if I can make it or not as wife has had some hospital tests today for possible colon problems so as a result I might not be able to make it this Saturday. Any photos of ATS, Asset and Lt. Legion new releases would therefore very much appreciated.
Many thanks in...
Hi
Looking at the bases I would definitely say they were Tommy Atkins as produced by Mark & Paul Turner. They have an extensive website if you do a search for Tommy Atkins which also includes the Fusilier range of figures. They offer both painted figures and castings for sale.
Hope this helps...
I too would just like to add my thanks to Gazza, as someone who was unable to attend the show, for the great photos of what traders had for sale. However, it hasn't gone unnoticed that there hasn't been the usual coverage of photos from fellow treefroggers this time and while GICOP posted in the...
Hi JB,
I remember this set of figures well and followed and enjoyed your detailed progress report on this forum as you put them together and painted them. Alan is sadly missed by a number of people in the hobby, not least by some of the companies that he provided a master sculpts service for. I...
Lovely cavalry JB. Am I correct in thinking that there are some Yeomanry figures highlighted here. Love the horses as well which again I detect the late Alan Caton's influence in the sculpts.
All the best
Martin
Many thanks Roy,
I know how distracting it can be at the show with all those toy soldier "goodies" on offer. My budget never runs as far as the figures I want to add to my collection.
Thanks again.
Martin
